RELIEF PLAYWORKERS NEEDED –
VARIOUS HOURS AS AND WHEN REQUIRED
We require an enthusiastic person to join our team at Linktown Playgroup
as a Playworker.
The successful candidates will join a team of Early Years Officers who pride
themselves in understanding children's individual needs appropriate to the
age and levels of their development.
At Linktown Playgroup, we deliver a broad and balanced curriculum,
following the Curriculum for Excellence, to children 2.5 to 5 years. Our Early
Years Officers create a relaxed and secure environment for our children
and use a wide range of observation strategies to identify and plan each
child’s early learning.
Essential skills required:
 Good communication skills are essential
 The ability to work as part of a team
 Possess or be working towards an NC Early Years and Childcare and
an HNC Early Years Education and Childcare or an SVQ Level 3
Childcare or equivalent
 Experience desirable, but full support will be given to newly qualified
candidates.
 PVG Scheme Membership through Disclosure Scotland, as well as
registration with the SSSC is essential
