Terms and Conditions
1. St. Bonaventure High School Summer School is open to all currently enrolled students, incoming
freshmen, and anyone specifically recommended.
2. Tuition is $250 for Art 1 and most make-up classes, $500 for Spanish 3, and $200 each class for
English Skills, Math Skills, World History Make-up, and Religion Make-up.
3. Books for English Skills, Math Skills, and English Make-up may be purchased from the Student
Store in June. Textbook (no workbook needed) for Spanish 3 may be purchased online or from
students who have previously taken the course. No book is needed for Art 1.
4. Spanish 3 meets five hours each day (except the July 3rd holiday) from June 17 through July 21,
2015. Art 1 meets two hours and twenty minutes each day (except the July 3rd holiday) from June
17 through July 21, 2015. Because these classes are so concentrated, a student may not be absent
except for emergency or serious illness in order to receive credit for these classes. (See Rules
and Regulations #6 below.)
5. Make-up classes meet two hours each day from June 17 through July 21, 2015. Absences for
skills classes or make-up classes are at the discretion of the summer school director.
6. There will be no exceptions to the absence rule.
7. Please note: Friday, July 3, 2015, is a holiday.
Rules and Regulations

We reserve the right to cancel classes with an insufficient number of students enrolled.
Tuition is refundable if the school cancels the class; tuition is non-refundable if the student or
family withdraws from summer school.
3. Appropriate dress must be worn: no short shorts, halter tops, sleeveless tops, sundresses, beach
wear, board or athletic shorts, flip-flops, hats, facial hair, earrings on boys, piercings other than
earrings on girls, etc. The administration reserves the right to determine what is appropriate.
4. Appropriate behavior is expected of all students. The administration reserves the right to
determine appropriate behavior. Students who behave inappropriately will be asked to withdraw
from summer school.
5. Cell phones, iPods, and other electronic devices are not to be seen or heard at any time during
summer school; a student who needs to contact parents may use his/her cell phone in the office.
6. Students are expected to be on time and present for class. A parent must call the attendance office
at extension 100 on the day of an illness or emergency absence and a note must be presented to
the office on the day of return after an illness or emergency absence. A student missing more
than two days for illness or emergency in Spanish 3 or Art 1 will receive no credit and will be
dropped.
7. Grades for all classes will be issued and will be recorded on the transcript in August.
