Three Weeks To Go!
St Mary’s College Carnival is fast approaching. There will again be lots on offer
including Carnival Rides, the Spinning Wheel, Food Stalls, Children’s Games, Trash
‘n’ Treasure, St Mary’s Idol and much more.
Jumping Castle
(5yrs & under)
There will be 4 carnival rides this year:Extreme Thriller (130cm Minimum height)
Cha Cha (8 Years +, 120cm Minimum height)
Chair O Plane (3-14 Years)
Jurassic Combo Inflatable (3-14 Years)
Pre-ordered Wrist Bands:
$25.00: Covers All Rides except The Extreme Thriller
$35.00: Covers All Rides
Wristband orders will soon be taken at the Office and
wristbands will be handed out on the day.
# Purchased on Carnival Day: $30.00 & $40.00 #
(We have been advised that if prepaid wristbands are
collected on the day then students won’t misplace or lose
them).

The next stage of our Carnival preparations requires each classroom to contribute to a ‘basket of goodies’. Just prior to the
Carnival all of these items will be gathered together and made up in hampers for the Spinning Wheel. Each student will be
asked to provide an item for the basket:-

Lego Competition
This year ‘Brick Venture’ (Lego company from Bendigo) will have an Exhibition in the
Parish Hall on Carnival Day. The College is also running a Lego Competition. Bring
in your ‘fee form creations’ or ‘instruction built’ ones.
Age groups 4-6; 7-9, 10+. Entry fee $2.00
All entries must be dropped at the Parish Hall on Friday 18th March between 8.30am-9.30am OR 3.00pm4.00pm. Entry free will be taken at the same time and each entry labelled. A representative from Brick
Venture will judge the comp. Prizes generously donated by Seymour Toyworld.
