How to Download and Install NX Maintenance Releases
First go to support.ugs.com and select “Download files” under “Download & Upload Files.”

You will need to run/allow Siemens’ security app.
Next, enter your WebKey account info.

On the screen below, select “NX/Unigraphics NX” from the pull down menu to the right of
the “Product Updates” cell.

We recommend you install the latest Maintenance Release. You do not have to install
maintenance packs unless they address software issues relevant to you or your
organization.

On the next screens, select your software version, and Operating System.

Click on the latest available Maintenance Release (be sure to select 32bit for 32bit PCs).
Once you have downloaded the latest Maintenance Release, right click on the ZIP file and
either “extract here” or “extract files...” and extract to a select location.

Open the extracted folder and double click “Launch.exe.”

On the NX 8.5.2 Maintenance Release splash screen, click “Install NX Update.”
You should see a CMD prompt detailing the upgrade process.

You will see a message indicating when the upgrade has completed.
To verify NX updated successfully, launch NX and select “About NX” from the help menu.
The number following “NX” on the about window indicates the exact version information for
that installation of NX. The second to last number is the Maintenance release number.
Make sure it is the same as the version info in the Maintenance Release file name. The last
number will vary depending on the last Maintenance Release installed, and whether or not
you install any Maintenance Packs.
