We have already been back from our vacation two weeks and we’ve been wanting to thank you for your prayers during our vacation
in Ivory Coast (Cote d’Ivoire). We sincerely felt like we were on a missionary journey, like the Apostle Paul, as he traveled back to
see the church he planted eleven years ago. We didn’t send an epistle to them during those eleven years, but we made a few
phone calls. While we were together last month we tried to express our feelings by encouraging them and congratulating them for
allowing God to use them to plant two other daughter churches without having a pastor. The photo on the left above is a front view
of the Goshen church and the one on the right is of the leadership team with their husbands or wives. They requested for us to
come for a reception the Wednesday after we arrived so that we could have some personal time with them before we worship them
on the following Sunday and asked for Wilondja to preach. Half of the leadership team is new, who were trained by the elders we
left in place and the new pastor in the blue shirt arrived two weeks before our visit. Please pray for each of them as they lead the
ministries of the church with godly wisdom and better care for the two daughter churches they planted.
