The table below describes the base prices for Solarize the Triangle 2016.
The rows signify the size of the individual installation. The columns signify the kW under contract as
part of Solarize the Triangle 2016. On the last day of the contracting period, June 15, 2016, the kW of
all contracts will be summed and the pricing tier will be set.
For example, at the start of the program, the Tier 1 price for a 6 kW installation is $ 3.29 per watt. If on
the contracting deadline, Solarize the Triangle has 150 kW under contract, then the price goes to
Tier 2: $3.23 per watt for all participants (even those who signed contracts earlier at Tier 1 pricing).

Suniva’s technology was developed at GeorgiaTech and their headquarters and manufacturing are in Norcross,
GA.
Inverter: convert the electricity from the panels into alternating current for use in your home
SolarEdge Inverter with Optimizers:
The SolarEdge Inverter with Optimizers is designed to maximize production in situations with partial shade and
make the most out of the homeowner’s available roof space. There are two components, a central inverter with a
12-year warranty and optimizer electronics on each panel which are warrantied for 25 years. SolarEdge was
founded in 2006 with offices in the US and worldwide; products are manufactured in Israel and Singapore.
SMA SunnyBoy TL Inverter:
SMA is the largest selling inverter company in the world. This inverter also comes with a single power outlet that
can be installed in the home and used to draw electricity directly from the solar panels, even during power
outages when the electric grid is down. OptiTrac technology provides some benefit during partial shade, but this
inverter is recommended for homes without shade. Headquarters and manufacturing in Germany; inverter
warrantied for 10 years.
