PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Volunteers should feel confident that study/work requirements will allow fulfillment of the sessions.
You will receive lesson confirmation before your lesson.
If your availability changes, please inform Coordinator immediately.
There is one session, six weeks long. Volunteers are asked for a six-week commitment.
Morning lessons are from 9:45am-12noon; Afternoon lessons are from 12:45pm-3:00pm.

Regular Volunteer: one session per week (only asked to volunteer for one 2 ½-hour session per week)
Regular Volunteer: more than one session per week
Substitute Volunteer: you can be a regular volunteer, and put your name on the substitute list as well.
Please check if you are interested in volunteering before or after the regular session. New volunteers will
not be scheduled to help until after training is completed. (Schools and one timers will ski/board from
December-April).

TRAINING REGISTRATION
To volunteer in the Eagle Ski/Board Program, every new volunteer is required to attend the training clinic.
For New Volunteers to the ski/board program, they must attend the dry land training at the Eagle Mount
Activity Center (1065 Franklin Ave.) on Thursday, January 5 from 6-8pm and the on hill trainings at Showdown
on Saturday and Sunday, January 7 and 8 from 9:30-4:00pm with a lunch break both days.

For Seasoned Volunteers that have been through the new volunteer training in the past have the opportunity
to attend the Sunday, December 11th training at Showdown from 9:30-4:00pm with a lunch break.
Attending the On Hill Training
This training is to focus on advanced adaptive skills and developing new ones.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SKI/BOARD PROGRAM as deemed necessary from our insurance company.
Ski/snowboard program volunteers will be required to wear a helmet while conducting, supporting or
participating in any way in the alpine ski/snowboarding lessons. In addition, all volunteers must be 16 years of
age or older.
