Dear Parents/Carers,
Your children are really excited about the Nativity Play and have
been asking us what costumes they need. We have detailed
below some suggestions.
Baboushka– smart dresses or long skirt and top/blouse and head
scarf.
Borris: Smart trouser, shirt and a waist coat.
Mary: Suitable traditional outfit (e.g. pale blue dress with
headdress)
Joseph: Suitable traditional outfit.
Tiddles: Cat (black leggings and t-shirt).
Shepherds: Suitable traditional outfit (possibly striped fabric tabard or dressing gown with
headdress or tea towel).
Chuck and Patti: Bright shorts, t-shirt, bum-bag, sunglasses, camera.
Angels: Suitable traditional outfit with halo (white/silver).
Bodyguards: White shirt, black trousers (black blazer and black tie).
Pop stars: Party clothes.
Children: Own casual clothes (jeans, skirts).
3 wise men: Traditional clothing with crowns (cloak).
Trees: Brown trousers and green top.
Mario and Antonio: Bike helmet, jeans, Plain white t-shirt, this will be drawn on).
Beggar man: Ripped/old shirt and trousers.
Choir: Every day trousers (boys) long skirts (girls).
We will be using face paints so please let us know if you do not want your child to wear face
paint during the performances.
Please can you send your child’s costume into school in a named carrier bag by Monday 1st
December.
