Practice Problems for Ohio’s State Test
• Purpose:
o To give students additional practice with the different types of questions they may see on
the Ohio State Test and the Reference Sheet
• Suggested use for Problems of the Day:
o Select one problem each day. Students attempt the problem individually, collaborate with
peers then discuss whole group; Students should explain their strategies and critique
others’ reasoning; math stations; small group instruction; game format
• Recording Answers:
o Color in answer bubble(s)
o Simulating typing in answers- see below
