Faith Bebbington
Create 3D Wallpaper with Recycled Materials
The group will create low relief sculpture
using a combination of recycled materials.
Faith will start by introducing her own work,
showing examples of sculptures she creates
online and bringing sculptures to handle.
Participants will learn basic construction
techniques using newspaper, tape and wire to
build their own 3D piece. The class will be
split into small groups (5 or 6 students) each
making a 3D artwork. All the separate pieces
will then be mounted on a background to
create the final 3D wallpaper.
The wallpaper can be based on a theme
chosen by the school. If no theme is specified
then influences can be drawn from William
Morris as a starting point to produce 3D fruit,
flowers, plants and birds.
