Inthistutorial,wewillwalkthroughthestepsofhowtoproperlyformatdatafromthe
JohnDeere™ApexsystemandimportitintoProfitZoneManager™.
Step1:
Forthisexample,weexportedthedatafromtheApexsystemandtitledthefolder“Apex”.
InordertouploaddataintoProfitZoneManager™,thisfoldermustbeina“zip”format.To
dothis,firsthighlightallofthefilesinthefolder.Next,rightclickononeofthefilestobring
upthedropdownmenuasshownbelow.
Step2:
Afterrightclickingonthefile,moveyourcursordowntothe“Sendto”option,thiswill
causeaseconddropdownmenutoappear.Onthisdropdownmenu,find“Compressed
(zipped)folder”andclickonitonce.
Step3:
Finally,whenyouclickonthe“compressed(zipped)folder,”ascreenwillpopuptoletyou
knowthatthefilesarebeingcompressed.
Oncethefilecompressioniscomplete,youwillbebroughtbacktothemainscreenand
yourcompressedZIPfolderwillbesittingundertheoriginalfiles.Itshouldlooklikethe
examplebelow.
Step4:
NowthatwehaveourfilescompressedwecanuploadthemintoProfitZoneManager™.In
orderfortoprocessthisdatawemustuploaditasRawMachineDataandnotas
shapefiles.Onceyouhaveselectedtheappropriatefoldertoupload,allthatislefttodois
click“save”andthedatawillproceedtobeprocessed.
YourmachinedatahassuccessfullybeenprocessedanduploadedintoProfitZone
