Students are creating a newsletter that will
include three articles written by them. In your
own words and style. Details are as follows:

One article on each of the topics below:
1. Elections – editorial piece on details of the elections (who, what, where and when)
and include your opinion on the elections.
2. International issue – you will write an article informing students about an
international issue you have discovered. Article should be detailed and give facts on
the issue (what is it, where is it happening, what caused it, how is it being fixed or
can be fixed), why does everyone need to be aware and your opinion.
3. Sport or Entertainment – you will write an article of your choice on sports or
entertainment. This article should be school appropriate and in your own words.
Each article must have a brief catchy title. (different font and size from the body of the
story)
Each article must be 4 – 5 paragraphs long.
Each article must include a picture. Not distracting and the wrap tool must be used to
align the picture with the story. You will add a caption to the picture.
Your newsletter name should stand out. Meaning the style /font used.
