the Maurya Empire, the “Golden Age” under Gupta, and the emperor Ashoka.

1. Bell Ringer: The students will complete the daily bell ringer
found on my OLC.
2. Activator: The students will watch the crash course video
about Ashoka.

1. The teacher will distribute the graphic organizer, Gupta
Culture to the students.
2. The teacher will give a Nearpod presentation about Gupta
culture.
3. Students will fill out the graphic organizer as the teacher goes
over the power point and will be part of their notebook.
5 min Top 5: The students will list what they think are the top 5 facts of
this lesson on the back of their graphic organizer.

Students may come to tutoring for one on one help.
Students may review presentation at their leisure from my OLC.
