Academic Honesty Educational and business professionals of all types take academic honesty very seriously. Plagiarism is most often committed when students are pressed for time, care little about an assignment, or are unaware of what plagiarism is. Planning and instruction can often remedy these deficiencies. But academic honesty is much more than the avoidance of plagiarism; it is a matter of integrity that includes the following qualities: • Submitting your own work • Working in a timely manner • Demonstrating effort and diligence Grade Categories: 20% Participation 50% Homework/Quizzes 30% Final Drafts/Projects Landry Academy Grading Scale: 100- 90:A 80- 89:B 70- 79:C 60- 69:D Below 60:F
