I understand that if I am applying to serve as an ANGEL or PRAYER TEAM member, HIM may ask me to complete an additional questionnaire. I also
understand that submitting a HIM Volunteer Registration Form does not guarantee or reserve me a spot on the Honolulu 2017 Volunteer Team.
Hawaiian Islands Ministries will notify me in mid-December of my volunteer status. If my application is received after the above stated deadline, I may
be placed on a “standby list” in the event there is a volunteer cancellation. If I am selected as volunteer, but am unable to serve, it is my responsibility
to notify HIM as soon as possible.

I am a first-time volunteer with Hawaiian Islands Ministries. Enclosed is my HIM Volunteer Application Form (separate
document) and a letter of introduction from my Pastor. Letter of introduction must be on church letterhead.
I WOULD LIKE TO REGISTER FOR THE FOLLOWING VOLUNTEER AREAS FOR HONOLULU 2017

I WOULD LIKE TO BE ON THE FRIDAY NIGHT CONCERT SECURITY TEAM.
Seeking volunteers with a passion for youth and/or experience in managing large crowds. Volunteer responsibilities include, but are not included to,
crowd and traffic control for Friday evening concert. Shift time: 6:45 PM to 11:00 PM

I WOULD LIKE TO HELP AT THE DOVE TAPING BOOTH.
Volunteer responsibilities include the duplication and sale of Dove CDs/DVDs. Must be able to work in a fast–paced environment and stand on your
feet for lengthy periods of time. Shift times:
Friday:
7:00 AM – 12 NOON ___________ 12 NOON – 5:00 PM _______ 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM ___________
Saturday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM ___________ (may work shorter shifts if also serving on Friday)

I WOULD LIKE TO BE A SPEAKER INTRODUCER.
Volunteer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, introducing a speaker at a breakout session starting on Thursday evening through Saturday
afternoon. Speaker introducers must be available to serve all three days, check in with the respective leader 30-minutes prior to each breakout session,
pick up the respective handouts, and attend a two and a half hour orientation on Wednesday, March 15.

I WOULD LIKE TO WORK AT THE HIM LOGO SHOP.
Volunteer responsibilities include, but are not limited to answering questions regarding merchandise and prices, selling HIM merchandise, and helping
with breakdown and final inventory at the end of the conference. Shift time varies. Logo Shop volunteers are required to attend a 90-minute
orientation on Wednesday, March 15.

I WOULD LIKE TO BE ON THE HIM PRAYER TEAM.
Volunteer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, praying for the conference and over the facility prior to the conference, staffing the Prayer
Room, and praying with conference participants. Prayer Team members must be available to serve year round and must also be serving on a prayer
team. Shift time varies. Prayer Team members are required to attend a three-hour orientation on Wednesday, March 15.

I WOULD LIKE TO SERVE AS A VIDEO CAMERA OPERATOR.
Seeking experienced volunteers to operate video cameras during the five breakout sessions. Video camera operator must have experience
operating a video camera and is required to attend a three-hour orientation on Wednesday, March 15. Shift times:
Thursday: 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Friday:
10:00 AM – 12 NOON | 3:00 – 5:00 PM | 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Saturday 10:00 AM – 12 NOON

I WOULD LIKE TO HELP WITH ONSITE PREPARATIONS.
Volunteer responsibilities will be to assist with various duties on Wednesday morning, March 15, at the Hawaii Convention Center. Duties will vary from
stuffing conference notebooks to preparing the merchandise at the HIM Logo Shop. Shift time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
