TECHNICAL DATASHEET PRO2000 GAS FILTER GF32 AX DESCRIPTION The Scott Safety Pro2000 filters are suitable for use with the Scott Safety Promask Single Filter and M98 Full Face Respirators. Scott Safety Pro2000 filters have a 40mm thread connection. PROTECTION Pro2000 Gas Filter GF32 AX protects against: COLOUR CODE PROTECTS AGAINST AX Gases & vapours from organic compounds with a boiling point below 65°C TECHNICAL DATASHEET LIMITATIONS WHEN USING AX FILTERS • AX Filters should only be used against low boiling compounds of group 1 and 2 GROUP EXPOSURE Group 1 Low boiling organic compounds with an occupational exposure limit below 10 ml/m³ Group 2 Low boiling organic compounds with an occupational exposure limit exceeding >10 ml/m³ Group 3 Low boiling organic compounds, against which protection can be reached with other gas filters (eg. type B or K) Group 4 Low boiling organic compounds, which are not at all or not sufficiently absorbed by gas filters • • AX Filters are for single use only and should be replaced after each shift (AS/NZS 1716) AX Filters can be used repeatedly during one working shift (max. 8 hours) as long as the maximum time of use and the filter capacity is not exceeded. COMPOUND GREATEST PERMISSIBLE CONCENTRATION (PPM) MAXIMUM TIME OF USE (MIN) Group 1 100 500 40 20 Group 2 1000 5000 60 20 • • AX Filters may not be used to protect against a mixture of A class gases and vapours (organic compounds with a boiling point above 65°C) and AX class gases and vapours (organic compounds with a boiling point below 65°C) AX Filters can be used as A2 filters (gases and vapours from organic compounds with a boiling point above 65°C). In this instance the same filter may not be used against AX class gases and vapours (organic compounds with boiling point below 65°C). Store the filters unopened in a clean place at even temperature, most appropriate at 0...+30°C and relative humidity below 75%. Sealed filters tolerate also conditions of -10...+50°C and below 95% RH. The storage period (month and year) for filters is marked on the filter tape. Do not try to regenerate the filters. Never clean the filters with compressed air or compressed water. After use, the filters are special refuse. Make sure that they are disposed of according to the filtered substance (gases or particles) in accordance with current waste treatment regulations. DISPOSAL If the product is to be disposed of, it should be dismantled from the respirator and disposed of as solid waste. Please see local authority regulations for disposal advice and locations.
