Tara Albrecht
Hi guys! I'm Tara! I'm a sophomore here at Leeds and am still undecided
major-wise. I lived in Will Vill my freshman year (woohoo!) and was an active
part of my hall council in Williams Village North. I love the Williams Village
community, and will be living in Bear Creek next year, so I will be very easily
available for any Williams Village residents. I was born and raised in Utah, but
have since lived in Colorado and Virginia. For now, I'm proud to call Aurora,
CO my home! I was in the P2P program last year as a mentee and I couldn't be
happier to be joining it now as a mentor. I love reading, skiing, and baking. I
absolutely love Boulder and I couldn't be happier to let you know that you
have chosen one of the best cities in the world to go to college in! I look
forward to meeting you guys and being a great resource for y'all in the fall!
Taylor Andrews
What's up! My name is Taylor Andrews. I was born in Northern Virginia just
outside DC. I lived there until the summer before my freshman year in high
school. After I graduated 8th grade my dad landed an awesome job with Vail
resorts! So we moved to nearby Louisville CO. I went to high school at
Monarch in Louisville. In high school I really focused on academics and got
good grade with AP classes etc... I also played soccer all four years, was on the
swim team and played on the intimate Frisbee team! Coming to be a buff was
a super easy choice for me because of how much I have grown to love the
best state in the country. I love to ski (23 days this year!!) and hang out with
friends. At CU I've kept my main focus on academics and I've really dedicated
myself to school and learning. I love math, so I decided to peruse the
certificate of quantitative finance! So I'm in lots of math and econ on top of all
the usual B school requirements. I want to be a mentor because I enrolled in
the program and it helped me a ton! It made me feel really welcome at Leeds,
which is very important in my eyes. I'm excited to get to know you!
Emma Bartels
Hi guys, I’m Emma and I’m a senior marketing and management major. I am
the President of Student Ambassadors, I’m a part of the Athletic Business
Club, and I’m also involved in Greek life. I love CU and the Buffs even though I
grew up as a Husker (in Nebraska). Football games are my favorite part about
fall semester, but I love all things Buffs. I have lived in Colorado for about 6
years now, but will have to admit that I don’t know how to ski or snowboard.
CU and Leeds were by far the best decisions I have made, I have checked
everything off my college bucket list and have one more year to make
memories. I can’t wait to see you around campus!
Nate Beard
Childhood began in Atlanta and thrived in Fort Collins, Colorado. I'm super
positive, laid-back and easy to get along with while also being pretty
opinionated. Love having fun adventuring, meeting new people,
snowboarding, soccer (most all sports), technology, art, new ideas,
philosophy, history, literature, music, fly fishing, and traveling. I have been
involved in clubs such as Boulder Free ride, Young Life, CU Energy club, Fly
fishing club, and LAIS, but this next year I'll be focusing on Startup CU and
entrepreneurship. My experiences abroad, independently and collegiately,
have changed my life. I'm going to be a 5th year senior graduating May 2014,
and I signed up to be a mentor because I feel like I've seen and experienced
quite a bit, especially on campus with different majors and departments, so
hopefully I can give some good direction and advice.
Griffin Bohn (studying abroad Fall 2013)
Hi, my name is Griffin Bohm, and I am a junior marketing major here at Leeds.
I am also pursuing certificates in International business and Entrepreneurial
studies. I play club lacrosse and am a huge fan of CU basketball, and I am one
of the leaders of the C-Unit, our student section at games. I'm an outdoor
type of guy, and I really enjoy hiking and cycling. I'm excited to meet you all
and help you be successful here at Leeds.
Rick Brubaker
I am a rising Sophomore majoring in finance and accounting with a minor in
economics. I am from Longmont, CO but spend three years of my life in Japan.
Here at CU and Leeds I am involved in the Leeds Scholars Program, Global
Platinum Securities, Finance Club, and a wide variety of intramural sports. I
am interested in sports (Go Broncos and Avs!), ice hockey, hiking, investing,
and traveling!
George Brunet
Why hello there! My Name is George Brunet and I am a Senior Marketing
Student at CU. I work at the career connection office so If you need any career
advice or connections in the B-school look no further. I started the Athletic
Business Club (ABC) freshman year with some fellow business students, so if
you are looking to get involved in the business school and meet other
business students the ABC is a great place to start! When I’m not in school or
at work I enjoy biking, hiking, listening to music, and DJ’ing parties on the
weekend. I have a great sense of humor and a pretty firm understanding of
CU, so anything you need to know, I’m your man!
Kathryn Bywater
Hi guys! My name is Katie and I am a junior HR Management major here at
Leeds. I am a Colorado native and love everything to do with the outdoors hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, wakeboarding, you name it! I am also
very invested in my education, placing my academics as a top priority. On
campus, I am involved in many extracurricular activities, such as Delta Sigma
Pi, which is a coed international business fraternity, and Phi Sigma Pi, which is
a coed national honors fraternity. I am very excited to meet all of you and I

Katherine Christensen
Hello everyone, my name is Katie Christensen! I'm originally from Boise, Idaho
but am so excited to be living in Boulder, Colorado. I'm a sophomore business
major with an emphasis in accounting and am pursuing a certificate in
international business. In my free time I love to be outside hiking, skiing,
playing soccer and basketball, or running on trails. I also love to go to movies,
shop, and bake. On campus I'm also involved in the Leeds Scholars program,

Cassidy Clark

My name is Cassidy Clark and I am originally from Aurora, Colorado. I’m a
sophomore here at CU studying Finance and Marketing and I am also pursuing
a non-business certificate in Technical Arts and Media. Besides being a
Peer2Peer Mentor, I am a student ambassador, so I give tours of campus. I
am a member of the professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, and I’m
also a Leeds Scholar. When I am not in class, I love snowboarding, watching

Adam Cohen
My name is Adam Cohen and I am currently a double degree Junior at the
University of Colorado at Boulder. I have a dual emphasis in Business
Administration with Accounting and Finance, and a Bachelor of Arts in
Psychology. I am from Los Angeles, California and I love the outdoors,
snowboarding, and am highly involved in Greek Life here at CU. I love
Colorado and am truly blessed to be a student here.
Corbin Deleon
Hi I'm Corbin Deleon, a junior with an emphasis in HR management. I am a
laid back, outgoing, positive, adventurous and motivated student. I am from
Toronto, Canada originally and moved to Boca Raton, Florida for high school
to play competitive tennis. I came to Colorado for a change in scenery and
new experiences, which thus far has exceeded by expectations to become the
best time of my life! My hobbies in Colorado include snowboarding, hiking,
tennis, basketball, attending football and basketball college games, comedy
shows, music festivals and any outdoor adventures with friends. There is a lot

Jill Delman
My name is Jill Delman, and I will be a sophomore this fall. I was born and
raised in Portland, Oregon. I am studying Management with a concentration
in Human Resources, I also plan to get a certificate in Peace and Conflict
Studies and a Business of Sports certificate. I love sports and being active. I
am on the Club Tennis Team here at CU and participated in Intramural sports.
I am also in the sorority Kappa Alpha Theta. I really like CU and Boulder

Margaret Devlin
Hello! My name is Maggie Devlin and I am a senior majoring in Operations
Management and also getting the Real Estate Certificate. I am from the small,
beautiful town of Lake George in New York State! I grew up spending as much
time as possible on the lake, boating and camping! After spending freshman
year in upstate New York, I realized it was time for a new adventure so I
transferred to CU! I could not have made better decision- I love Boulder and
being a BUFF! In my free time I enjoy skiing, hiking, and music concerts so
Colorado is the place to be! Leeds is a great environment and I am so excited

Alessandra DeWitt
Hi my name is Alessandra DeWitt and I’m a senior Marketing and Operations
major at the Leeds school. I have been working in the Undergraduate Student
Engagement Office in Leeds for the past two years and help run the Business
of Sports program and the Business Certificate program. I have been helping
with the P2P program for the past two years and joined my freshmen year. I
really love this program because I enjoy meeting you all and helping you
through your first year of college. I am also in one of the business fraternities,
Alpha Kappa Psi, the Professional Mentoring program (PMP), and the Diverse
Scholars Program. Outside of school I love baking desserts, running, playing

Julia Donahue
Hey there! I’m Julia and a junior here at Leeds. I absolutely love the business
school and am a Leeds Ambassador (I give tours) and work in the mentoring
office. I am also the philanthropy chair for my sorority. When I’m not in class, I
love dancing, skiing, and hiking. I’m pursuing a marketing emphasis and an
international business certificate. While you’re reading this, I will be
wandering the streets of Paris and eating my share of crepes as a summer
study abroad student.
Thomas Duggan
I'm Tommy Duggan and I'm a sophomore. I'm from Broomfield, CO and my
major is Business-Undecided right now, but I'm leaning toward finance. I like
to play basketball, fish, hike, climb Fourteeners and basically anything
“Colorado”. I'm also a huge Colorado sports fan, or at least until the Broncos
ripped my heart out and the Nuggets stomped on it. At CU, I'm part of the
Leeds Scholars, work for the Office of Parent Relations, volunteer for
the Conference on World Affairs, and yes, I am an intramural champion. I also
got a 4.0 freshmen year so I must have done something right and I'd love to

Hey there! My name is Alex, and I am a junior here at the Leeds school. Little
about me: I have a strong belief that college is all about finding the balance
between work and play. I am currently the VP of Corporate Relations for the
finance club and I’m also a new Alpha Kappa Psi member (one of the two

Hey everyone, my name is Justin Freedman and I am going to be a senior
marketing major here at Leeds. I'm from Parker, Colorado and I enjoy skiing,

Hey I'm Jake and I'm a sophomore at Boulder with an undecided major. I'm
from Maui and love water sports like kiting and surfing. I grew up playing
basketball and my favorite team is the heat. At Boulder I play intramural

My name is Ellyn and I’m a junior from Littleton, CO. I am currently deciding

Hello! I’m Sarah and I am a Junior majoring in marketing here at Leeds, as well
as a certificate in International Business. I am from Princeton, New Jersey. I
love spending my free time with my friends and family. Besides hanging out
with friends I also love to snowboard, shop, and watch movies. At CU I am a
member of Boulder Free ride, and am on the executive board of my sorority.

Hi! My name is Laura Hammerman and I am a Senior Marketing and Finance
major, pursuing a certificate in Entrepreneurship as well. I am involved in club
swimming, the Professional Mentorship Program, and P2P. This summer, I
have two amazing internships with a company in the outdoor industry and an
advertising agency! In my free time, you will find me outside on a picnic,

My name is Jonny House and I am a senior studying Accounting, Finance, and

Alabama), and any other Colorado hobby I can get into. I take any opportunity
I can find to travel - I studied abroad in Italy a few years ago and will be living
in London this summer to participate in the London Finance Seminar offered

Hi there! Thanks for stopping to read my bio, allow me to introduce myself,
I’m Nick, a senior here at Leeds. Monday through Friday I split my time
between studying (I am a management major, pursuing minors in computer
science and economics, as well as a CESR certificate) and my job/passion of
working as a software development intern at a startup in beautiful downtown
Boulder. But enough with the boring stuff, on the weekends I love to ski, golf,
downhill bike, enjoy the mountains, travel to new places and (ahem, nerd
alert) writing software (my latest idea, Facebook for Dogs, is going to make
millions). I have been a part of the P2P program since my first year here at CU
and my fantastic mentor inspired me to become a mentor myself.

Michigan growing up and I love to fish and be around boats and the water. I

Hi! My name is Johnny Joyce and I am currently a sophomore student at CU. I
am planning to major in finance here at the Leeds School of Business. I am
from Denver, Colorado where I attended Cherry Creek High School. At Cherry
Creek, I played football for four years. I love most all sports and love to ski. I
have 2 brothers; one older and one younger. I would consider myself a very

Colorado from Carmel, Indiana so I could be closer to the mountains. I love

Donald Kirby
Hey Ladies and Gentlemen! My name is Donald Kirby and I’m a junior at the
business school. I am from Durango, Colorado located in the gorgeous San
Juan Mountains and I love the outdoors. I am huge a sports fan and attend

Hi, my name is Connor Knutson and I am a senior at Leeds; originally from
Parker, Colorado. I am majoring in Finance and pursuing a certificate in Real
Estate. I have been a peer mentor for the past two years, and have really
enjoyed it. Last summer, I interned for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation in
Denver and I am currently an intern for Tebo Development Company in
Boulder. My background allows me to help my mentees make decisions with

I'm Kelsey Lee and I'm from Denver, Colorado! I'm a Sophomore pursuing a

Anthony Levy
My name’s Anthony, I play guitar, and I can’t grow a beard to save my life. I
skydive, snowboard, and pretty much every other board sport for that matter.
I like long walks on the beach, frolf, and I own my own non-profit called
Technology Bridges where we teach old folks “how to computer”. I’m an
operations management major with a certificate in International Business,
and I made it to state for diving in high school. I’m from St. Louis, Missouri,
and man (or mam), am I glad to be here in Boulder. I’m obsessed with people,
saving the environment and the human spirit; I hate politics/media, and I’m
going to own my own global business one day that is going to change the

Harken Maguire
Hi all! My name is Harken Maguire and I was born in Seattle Washington. I
have spent time living in Central Washington, Taos New Mexico, and Southern
California. I am very active and I have competed in various sports including
but not limited to: motocross, snowboarding, skiing, surfing, wrestling,
football, baseball, etc. Nowadays I spend my time studying finance and
marketing, fly fishing, snowboarding, and leading my fraternity. I love

Carleigh Maloney
Hello Future Buffs! My name is Carleigh Maloney and I am a junior from Santa
Barbara, CA. I'm a double degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing
and Journalism with an emphasis in Advertising (as well as an
Entrepreneurship certificate). I recently joined one of the co-ed professional
business fraternities at Leeds and am also very involved in Greek Life on
campus; currently the president of my sorority. I love the outdoors and try to

Hello! My name is Maggie and I am a Junior Finance Major in the Business
School. I am from Chicago, but have fallen in love with the mountains in

Katherine Moore
Hi everyone! My name is Katie Moore and I am a senior studying
Accounting and pursuing a certificate in leadership. I am originally from
Austin, Texas but consider Colorado my home. I love everything that this
state has to offer and am a big fan of spending as much time as I can in
the mountains either snowboarding or hiking. I believe CU Boulder to be
the best school in the nation and am obsessed with this city! On the
weekends you'll find me at the Fox or Boulder theatre enjoying some live
music, casually hanging out with friends, or studying on Norlin quad. I love

Brian Newman
Hi, my name is Brian Newman and I’m a sophomore in the Leeds school of
business. I plan to declare Finance as my area of emphasis. I grew up in a
small mountain town outside of Boulder called Nederland. I spend most of
my time outdoors hanging out with friends and listening to music. I play a
variety of sports, but my favorite two are skiing and golf. My favorite
activities in Boulder include hiking, lawn golf, tossing a Frisbee, and of course
watching the Buffs win. I’m very excited to be a part of this program and
meet my new mentees.
Drew Noolas
My name is Drew Noolas and I am a junior here at Leeds. I am doing a dual
emphasis in Operations and Information Management. I was born and raised
in Boulder, CO, so I am very familiar with the city and I would not want to be
going to school anywhere else in the world. I am the youngest of three boys in
my family and all of us have gone to CU. I went to Boulder High School where I
played baseball, basketball, a season of football, and golf. If I am not hanging
out with my friends or family I am probably doing something active. This is my
second year as a P2P mentor and I hope to continue to improve as a mentor

Justin Orens
My name is Justin and I'm a sophomore at Leeds and am currently open
option. I'm from California and lived in the Los Angeles area for all of my
life. I love to travel and spend time outside whether it's hiking, skiing, or just
hanging out with friends while enjoying the nice weather. I also really like
music, funny movies, and Chipotle. In addition to Peer2Peer, I'm involved in
Greek life here at CU.
Michael Plucinsky
I am from Lakewood, Colorado. I went to Mullen High School in Denver where
I played basketball, tennis, and was a member of the National Honor’s
Society. I am currently a junior at Leeds with an emphasis in Marketing.
Besides the P2P Mentorship Program, I am also a part of the Professional
Mentorship Program. Since I have lived in Colorado my entire life, I am a
huge fan of all Colorado sport teams (especially the Denver Nuggets).
Hannah Pobar
Hi there! I am a Senior information management major pursuing certificates
in both entrepreneurship and technology, art & media. I'm from Parker,
Colorado and currently run my own small business as a lifestyle and wedding
photographer (hannahtruly.com). I love Leeds and have found such an
incredible sense of belonging here as a member of the professional business
fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi and through StartupCU, a club centered on the
entrepreneurial culture in Boulder. I have a heart for vanilla lattes,

Lauren Potter
Hey there, my name is Lauren Potter. I am a junior double major in
Operations Management and Human Resources Management. I also am
pursuing a certificate in the Business of Sports program. I hope to minor in the
Technology Arts and Media program as well. I'm a part of Leeds Ambassadors
in which I give tours of the business school. I also have an internship with the
football program where I assist in recruiting and operations. I have a love for

Faith Prager
Hello future buffs!! My name is Faith Prager and I will be a Junior this coming
fall majoring in accounting and vocal performance. I absolutely love being a
double major, even though it is challenging, because I get to do what I love
every single day. I was born and raised in Colorado, and it is a family tradition
to be a buff! I am also a member of the Christian sorority Alpha Delta Chi!!
(We recently won Greek week!) When I am not singing, I am loving on my
sisters, hanging outdoors, studying, or cheering on the buffs!
Chase Prieve
Hi! My name is Chase Prieve. I am a fifth year senior here at Leeds looking to
graduate May 2014 with a double emphasis in Marketing and Management
and certificates in the Business of Sports and International Marketing. This
summer I am studying abroad in Brussels as part of my International
Marketing certificate requirements. I am an avid runner, outdoor enthusiast,
and am involved in a clubs and organizations here at CU. Overall I would say I
am a very outgoing kind of guy who's here to help you make the best
transition from high school to college. I look forward to seeing you around

Ryan Raso
Hello and welcome to Buffalo country! My name is Ryan and I’m a sophomore
in the business school. My area of emphasis is marketing, but I am also
pursuing a dual degree in the journalism school studying advertising. I’m from
Colorado and enjoy the crazy weather, mountains, towns and everything in
between that makes this the best state to live in. I am on the cheerleading
team so you can find me on the sidelines at sports games, or working at my
on campus job. I’m a crazy buff lover that feels lucky every day to go to school
at such a great place. I can’t wait to meet you all, and as always, GO BUFFS!
Ursula Reichle
Hi! I'm Ursula, I'm a sophomore at CU pursuing a major in marketing. I'm very
involved on campus especially in Greek life. I'm a member of both a social
sorority and a professional business fraternity. I'm a Colorado native and love
all of the wonderful things our beautiful state has to offer! Being outdoors is
important to me and in the summer I love to go hiking and running, while in
the winter I go skiing. I enjoy trying new foods, and Boulder offers a wide
variety of restaurant options. I love to have a good a time and I'm looking
forward to working with a mentee!
Stephen Rodriguez
Hey everyone! My name is Stephen Rodriguez and I am a Junior year here at
the Leeds School of Business. I am currently a Marketing major and am
working on a couple of certificates and minors. I am originally from Orlando,
Florida, but I have lived in Colorado since 2002. I enjoy being involved here at
Leeds and I am a member of the Athletic Business Club. My hobbies include
playing basketball and golf, attending concerts, skateboarding, hanging out
with friends, and staying fit, just to name a few. Others find me easy to get
along with, as I am outgoing and don’t take myself too serious.
Graeme Rothe
Hey my name is Graeme Rothe! I am from Southern California and am a
Junior Marketing Major at CU. Although Southern California is great, I love
the mountains and never want to leave Colorado! I currently am the
president of the Club Water Polo team, am part of the CU American
Marketing Association (CUAMA), and am a Marketing Operations Intern at a
software company in Boulder called Rally Software. I love to do pretty much
anything outside. I mainly spend my free time either mountain biking,
snowboarding, or just doing something active outside. I am excited to meet
you all and help you with getting adjusted to being a Buff
Maddison Saavedra
Hello everyone! My name is Maddison, but most of my friends call me
Maddie. I grew up just 45 minutes away in the suburbs of Highlands Ranch,
CO. Currently I am going into my junior year here at the University of
Colorado as a dual emphasis information and operations management. I
belong to the lifelong sisterhood of Alpha Phi and absolutely love it; I serve on
the executive board as the Vice President of Chapter Operations. I am also
involved in CU Student Government where I serve as a Representative at
Large as well as Vice Speaker of Representative Council. I am very involved
with the Annex, a college Christian ministry. My faith is something that is very
important to me and something that helped me survive my first year here!
Balancing work and fun is a crucial skill you must master in your time at CU.
The University of Colorado has a lot of opportunities to offer, I hope that you
enjoy your first year as much as I did!
Jason Schira
Hey guys, my name is Jason Schira and I'm a junior from Niwot, CO. I'm
majoring in marketing with a minor in economics. I'm definitely a work
hard/play hard kind of guy. I take my studies very seriously, and at the same
time I love spending time with my friends, playing and watching sports (go
Buffs!), and enjoying everything else Boulder has to offer. I've had an
unbelievable time here at CU, both in the classroom and out, and I look
forward to meeting you guys and showing you all that CU Boulder has to

Jake Silverman
What’s Up! I’m Jake and I am a senior majoring in operations and information
management from Philadelphia. I studied abroad in Gold Coast, Australia last
semester and started the Business of Sports club here at Leeds. I am an avid
snowboarder and surfer and I also enjoy ice hockey, mountain biking, running,
and fishing. I am a huge Philly sports fan, and of course an even bigger Buffs
fan. I am a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, and I think there is no
better place to go to school than here at CU!
Caroline Solak
Hi, my name is Caroline Solak! I consider myself a native Coloradoan, born in
Chicago and raised in a charming, tourist town in Southern Colorado. I am a
Junior at the Leeds School of Business with an emphasis in Marketing. At
Leeds I have been a part of Leeds Council and P2P for two years. I am also
involved in the CU Greek Community, being a part of Alpha Phi! I love being
outdoors in beautiful Boulder as well as spending time with friends and
traveling when I can! The last two years at CU have been unforgettable and I
cannot wait to meet all my new mentees!
Andrew Speck
My name is Andrew Speck and I am a senior in the Leeds School of Business
and a native Coloradan. I love being active and I spend most of my time
snowboarding, mountain biking and playing intramural sports such as
basketball and ice hockey at CU. I am also involved around campus and have
been on Leeds Council while also holding the role of Vice President of my
fraternity. I love to travel and just returned home from sailing around the
world on the Semester at Sea program. I take my school work seriously and
get all my work done in a timely manner so I can have as much free time as
possible to enjoy beautiful Boulder Colorado.
Mike Sullivan
Hey future Buffs! My name is Mike Sullivan and I’m a senior at Leeds. I am
really into sports and I’m a huge Broncos, Rockies and Nuggets fan. I grew up
in Seattle, WA, but moved to Highlands Ranch, CO before my freshman year
in high school and played basketball for three years. I take my academics
pretty seriously, but I also live by the motto “Work hard, play hard”.
Intramurals are extremely fun and I have been on several teams. I am easy to
get along with and look forward to meeting all of you in August. Get pumped.
Neely Surmeier
Hi, my name is Neely Surmeier, and I am from Durango, Colorado. I am senior
finance major pursuing a certificate in Socially Responsible Enterprise. In my
spare time I am spending time outdoors hiking, running, and skiing. I love
spending time with my friends on Pearl Street, going to football games,
painting, and traveling. I am involved in Greek life, the Leeds Professional
Mentorship Program, and just returned from a semester of studying abroad in
Prague, Czech Republic. I look forward to helping with the adjustment to

Baylee Thennell
Hi! I’m Baylee. I’m a senior double majoring in Marketing and Finance here at
Leeds. I was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado and attended Regis Jesuit
High School. I attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for my
freshman year and am thrilled to be back in Colorado at CU! Go Buffs! I love
all sports and being active. I am also involved in Greek life here on campus. I
quickly realized why CU and the Leeds School of Business was the perfect
place for me because of its great students, professors, clubs, and so much

Serenity Torres
Hi, my name is Serenity Torres and I am a senior studying Operations
Management and pursuing a certificate in International Business. I am from
Southern California and love the sunny days. However, I fell in love with
Boulder and the snow; but unfortunately I'm not coordinated enough to go
down the ski slopes. Last year I studied abroad in Spain and traveled Europewhich has given me a new passion for traveling. I enjoy watching and playing
sports and am an avid LA Dodgers/Lakers fan! I cherish the academic
experience that I've had here at Leeds and CU and love all the new friends I
have met along the way. I can't wait to meet you and show you around CU!! I

Hey everyone my name is Nik Treece. I am a junior studying marketing and HR
management. I am a very outgoing person who loves meeting new people. I
really enjoy the outdoors, sports, and hanging out with friends. I am currently
the president of the Athletic Business Club and have been involved in various
other clubs and events. I have loved my time so far here at Leeds and I look

Nicholas Tuttle
My name is Nicholas Tuttle and I am originally from Denver, CO. I went to
Cherry Creek High School and I love to play sports; especially basketball,
volleyball, and soccer. I am a sophomore at Leeds and have yet to declare my
business empasis. One of my favorite things to do is go to the mountains
whether it is skiing in the winter or hiking fourteen thousand feet peaks in the
summer! I love camping and being outdoors with my friends. I am also a
brother in the professional business fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi, and an
interesting fact about me is that I have been skydiving.

Sasha Veytsman
My name is Sasha Veytsman and I am a junior Marketing major in the Leeds
School of Business. I've been in P2P for the past two years, first as a mentee
and then as a mentor. Originally from New Jersey, I have found a new love for
my home in Colorado as well as CU; while I still understand the difficulty of
being so far from home. I enjoy being outdoors and going to all the awesome
concerts Colorado has to offer. I'm super excited for the upcoming school
year and to meet all the incoming buffs!
Abby Vollmer
Hi, my name is Abby Vollmer and I am a Senior Finance major! I am from
Cincinnati, Ohio and spent spring semester junior year in Florence, Italy. I am
involved in the Business School and Greek life here at CU. I love to stay active
by spending time outdoors and hanging out with friends and family. School is
very important to me and I look forward to sharing my tips regarding school,
time management and the general adjustment issues to incoming students!
Hannah Williams
Welcome to CU! My name is Hannah Williams and I am a senior at the
University of Colorado. I have been involved in the Peer2Peer Program since I
was a freshman and found it to be very beneficial in learning about CU and
how to adapt in college. I love studying Finance and have really enjoyed the
courses and professors at CU. In my free time I enjoy snowboarding, hiking,
playing soccer and spending time with my dogs, friends and family. I have
been involved in many different organizations and clubs at CU and love
playing intramurals as well
Megan Wuebbolt
Hey! My name is Megan Wuebbolt and I am a sophomore in the business
school. I'm from Western NY and came to CU not knowing a single soul. I am
one of four girls, yes four, and were all a year apart. Let’s just say my family
could never go on vacation during basketball season because then half the
team was gone! I was a mentee last year and had a great experience! I love to
snowboard, ski, play soccer, and hike. I'm very outgoing and try to get
involved in every! I love CU, like I'm legitimately obsessed, and I hope you will

J.D. Yaklich
My name is J.D. Yaklich and I am a junior marketing major here at CU. I am
from Englewood, CO so I didn’t have to travel far to enjoy the Boulder
sunshine and great education CU provides. This is my first year mentoring
with Peer2Peer and I am very excited to work with my mentees. I am Vice
President of Student Ambassadors and have also worked with the Athletics
Department since coming to CU. I try to stay busy, but always make time for
some fun in my schedule. I have always been a Buffs fan so going to football
and basketball games is a highlight for me. I also enjoy playing sports, going to
concerts and hanging out with my friends. I love going to CU and am very

Katelyn Yoss (mentoring Leeds Scholars only)
Hi! I'm Katelyn a senior studying accounting. I moved here from a small town
in Texas that is basically the opposite of Boulder in every way. I love CU and
Colorado! I get out to the mountains as much as I can on the weekends for
skiing, hiking, and any other outdoor adventure. I am a terrible cook, and a
pretty enthusiastic line-dancer! I'd love to meet you, and hope you enjoy your
time here as much as I have!
Taylor Young
Hi! My name is Taylor Young and I am a junior here at CU. I grew up in
Littleton Colorado, but my freshman year of high school I moved to Las Vegas,
Nevada. I am double majoring in marketing and management. Apart from
school, I love to ski, hike and do anything outdoors. I have played soccer since
I was little and I am still very passionate about it. I also love to spend time
with my friends and family and read in my spare time. I am also a part of the
Greek community here at CU. I am enjoying every moment that I have here at
