You will be required to take regular lessons while your horse is at ICOH. Go backward softly with fingertip yielding and a mere suggestion from a distance. Go sideways away from and toward you. Increase Feel Timing and Balance: These services are training for humans. Increase feel – Feel can be defined as touch as well as intuition. There are many levels and layers of feel when working with horses. Increase timing – When working with horses – timing is everything. I don’t mean I want you to feed on time, I mean I want you to get connected with your horse’s footfalls and breathe so they can get in harmony with you. When your timing is good, harmony is present in your life with horses on the ground and while riding. Increase balance – when your whoa equals your go, you are in balance; when you are ready to correct but trust your horse to respond, you are in balance; when you use your breathe to go and to stop, you are in balance. Here we are talking about mental, physical and emotional balance. Understand and Relate to Spacial Awareness: Learn about Natural Rhythm and the Geometry of Moving in Harmony with Horses: A Herd of Aids; from birth horses are born into, move with and grow to count on natural geometric shapes and rhythms. For example: In the natural world, horses are born into a herd, very shortly after birth, they meet their family and begin moving together, right next to their mother, learning to watch and feel her and move in her rhythm. Soon enough they meet siblings, aunts and cousins and begin to frolic all in complete harmony albeit awkward at first. Horses count on this rhythm and harmony for safety and for comfort. Soon enough horses are able to be moved in all directions with nothing more than intention from herd members. It becomes easy to completely change the course of movement with just a few steps in direction toward or away, forward or back. You will learn to see energy; move energy and even bend energy to help your horse move where you want from the ground or while riding. Video Coaching: This is helpful for long distance coaching. If you attend a workshop or lesson with me, I can help you achieve or further your goals from afar. This happens by you uploading a video you take to YouTube and inviting me to view it. We will view it together and discuss what’s next. The video is yours, only those who you invite can see it, you may keep it or delete it at any time. Grooming Program: This is a program for people with needs which may include: People who should not ride horses for any reason People in wheel chairs don’t want to or should not ride Obese people People with fragile X or similar brain issues Elderly people wanting to be with horses People with certain mental capacity allowing them to follow directions meticulously People who need much supervision Any people who just love horses and want to get to know horses People who would benefit from touching and brushing horses People who need help reading social cues People who need help building relationships Camps, Clinics and Workshops Clinics and workshops are the same thing.
