My sincere condolences and prayers go out to the families and friends of officers Elaine Frinkley
and Anna Hamilton, both of whom died active.
Congratulations to the 28 Student Police Officers who were sworn in as Police Officers at the
graduation exercise held at the Greater Grace Temple June 2, 2014.
Outside the U.S. Travel Information for Blue Cross/Blue Shield Subscribers:
Your Blue Cross Blue Shield health-care plan provides coverage while you are traveling outside
the United States.
Blue Cross Blue Shield has an agreement with providers in other countries. If you need medical
attention while traveling or living outside the United States, you should call (800) 810-BLUE (2583). If
you are already out of the country, you can call the BlueCard Worldwide Service Center collect at (804)
673-1177. In an emergency situation, you should seek medical treatment as soon as possible.
If you receive services while traveling out of the country, please follow the instructions listed
below.
● Obtain an International Claim Form from the BlueCard Worldwide website by scrolling down
to bottom of page.
● Complete and attach all of the following documentation:
- copy of the medical records
- copy of the itemized bill
- proof of payment
