Based on what you're saying, a non-custodial husband making $100,000 per year only has to pay an ex-wife (with child custody) $17,000 per year. How can that be fair? The oldest is 19 and unless certain provisions are made in the divorce decree that child is of age and he doesn't have to pay support. She is getting $3,000 for their daughter per month. She is 15 and will age out in 3 years unless again, provisions are made in the divorce decree. She's receiving 15K a month for alimony and half of two residents they own. What is in contention is her percentage in his law partnership which has shown a decline. If you browse the web, he was much maligned as a lawyer in differnt blogs.
