BSAD 237: Global Studies Travel Seminar
BSAD 237 is offered during Spring 2017 and can be taken as part of your regular course load.
Unlike other travel opportunities, the international travel associated with the course is open to all
students, friends, and family. Registration in BSAD 237 is not required to participate.
 Travel with other Clarion University students and professors.
 Our departure gateway is Pittsburgh International avoiding additional transportation costs.
 Participants may be eligible for International Scholar Awards of up to $1,000.


May 2017: European Tour
Zurich, Lucerne, Venice, Florence, Cinque
Terre, Monaco, Nice, with extension to Paris
Switzerland, Italy, and France
In a few short months we will be traveling to Switzerland,
Italy, and France! Can you imagine yourself standing in awe
at the Swiss Alps, viewing the Mediterranean from the
French Riviera, visiting the canals in Venice, or enjoying Paris
in spring? This truly is an experience that you will cherish for
years to come. Begin in Zurich, one of Europe’s principal financial and gold-trading hubs. The majestic Alps provide a
stunning backdrop to Lucerne. Travel via Verona to Venice.
Take a guided tour of Florence, visit the Leaning Tower in
Pisa, and travel to Monaco and Nice on the spectacular Côte
d'Azur. Ride the high-speed TGV to Paris and visit Notre
Dame, the Eiffel Tower, and the Louvre. Walk the ChampsÉlysées to the Place de la Concorde, visit Montmartre, Musee
d’Orsay, and the many other attractions in the City of Lights.
