reproduction
and
how
characteristics are inherited.
In chemistry, pupils will study
chemical reactions and look at pure
and impure substances.

how light and electrical circuits are
used in communications.

metric system and how to
convert between metric and
imperial measurements.
Pupils will learn how to plot and
use real life graphs, completing
calculations using lengths, mass,

concept of coding and how we
communicate through the use of
codes.
Pupils will explore electronics and
the use of technology for
communication.

experimenting with tonal shading,
observational drawing and shape and
outline.
Work will be translated into three
dimensions in the medium of Ceramics.
Pupils will explore how music
can be understood as a
communicative art form.
This will be achieved through
the study of music with an
intentional
communicative
function, e.g. programmatic,
dramatic, and film music.
Pupils will explore how atmosphere
and mood can be conveyed and
how narrative structure can be
used to create mystery and tension.
