CLUB MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
The Club
Visions gymnastics caters for all levels of gymnastics from pre-school to Olympic level, competitive as well
as recreational programs.
We successfully produce many National and Provincial athletes on an on-going basis. We currently have
four branches:
HILLFOX - Hillfox Value Centre, c/o Hendrik Potgieter & Rhinoceros Rd, Weltevredenpark (main branch).
BOSKRUIN -Boskruin Community Centre, Kelly Rd, Boskruin, Randburg
FERNDALE - Ferndale Recreation Centre, c/o Main & Harley Str., Ferndale, Randburg
BEAULIEU - Beaulieu College, Maple Rd., Kyalami
The club is a registered member of the Central Gauteng Gymnastics Association (CGGA), the South African
Gymnastics Federation (SAGF) and the United States Independent Gymnastics Clubs.
The club is a service provider for artistic-, trampoline- and general gymnastics.
Management and coaches
Owners Adele Heine and Derick Scholtz ( Protea coaches) and their dedicated team of national and
provincial coaches as well as administrative personnel, strive to make your child’s gymnastics experience a
most successful and pleasurable one.
Adele is in charge of all class placements and Derick is head coach of technical programs.
All our dedicated coaches are affiliated with the SAGF and continuously undergo more training when
provided. In addition, we maintain our first aid qualifications.
Joining and Registration
An annual registration fee (Club, CGA and SAGF) is payable at the
beginning of each year. All registered gymnasts will be given a
Visions Club t-shirt. Gymnasts must complete and return a signed
club enrolment/indemnity and financial obligation form.
Right of admission reserved.
Clothing
For training purposes:
Girls: Any of the following: Any gymnastics cut
leotard with or without matching ski pants or Club
leotard or Gauteng leotard or Visions t-shirt and
shorts.
Boys: Any of the following: Any gymnastics cut
leotard or Club leotard with gymnastics shorts or
Gauteng clothing or Visions t-shirt and shorts.
For competition purposes: Compulsory items are the club leotards, tracksuits and gym bag. This can be
ordered from the office and we will send out details about orders from time to time.
Fees
* Annual registration fee is payable to Visions every year
* Full fees are payable for 11 months of the year
* Fees are payable in advance, before/on the 7th of each month
* No reductions for classes missed due to school tours, holidays etc.
* Missed lessons can be made up – speak to relevant coach re times
* One month’s written, paid notice is required if classes are to be discontinued. Failing this, one month
notice fee will be charged. No verbal cancellation will be accepted.
* A clearance letter must be obtained before moving to another club
* Visions reserve the right to withhold entry to competitions or suspend classes if fees are not up to date.

Holidays and Public holidays
* The gym is closed on all public holidays
* Classes will continue as normal throughout the rest of the year, including school holidays, except at the
Beaulieu branch where the relevant school terms will apply. However, gymnasts from this branch may join
any other branch during holidays for training, but by arrangement only.
*The gym will be closed for 4 – 5 weeks over the December / January period
Spectators
Visions Gymnastics Club has a “no spectator policy”. This is to ensure effective concentration from the
gymnasts during classes and in this way ensure the best possible results. In addition, the club premises are
not practical of spectators and for this reason gymnasts or spectators may be at risk of injury. With that in
mind, the following applies:
We do have formal viewing days – Parents will be informed of this during each term
Parents of gymnasts who try out for the first time may view the first lesson.
Any reasonable request to view a lesson on special occasions may be granted by management
