Canadian Culture—The Mosaic
• Canadians can express their ethnic
heritage at the same time. The one
cultural issue that unites most Canadians
is the feeling that the United States has
too much influence on their culture.
• Canadians search for ways to express
their unique cultures. Artists have helped
by developing new techniques for their
paintings of landscapes. Many Canadian
writers and musicians are famous for
their works. Lucy Maud Montgomery,
Margaret Atwood, and Alice Munro are all
writers praised for their work.
