2016 Benjamin Franklin Award Call for Nominations As the 2013 proud and humble recipient of the Benjamin Franklin Award and Chairman of the 2016 Benjamin Franklin Selection Committee, I am pleased to announce the call for 2016 nominations. Named after our industry’s patron saint, Benjamin Franklin, the prestigious Benjamin Franklin Award was first presented by PIAG in 1958. For 58 years our industry has recognized an individual for their commitment and contributions to this great industry of PRINT. This year’s presentation of the award will take place at PIAG’s “ImPRESS ” on August 12, which will be held at Mason Art Gallery. This award is recognized throughout Georgia’s printing and imaging industry as the highest honor conferred by the industry to an individual. It pays special homage to an individual whose peers have selected them to represent the industry. Again, I am grateful to have received this award and being honored with this award was one of the highlights of my career. Please consider this call for nominations an opportunity to nominate someone you believe has made a major, long term contribution to our industry.
