Go to www.saltmoney.org to sign in to complete your lessons. (please note this website works best on Mozilla/Firefox or Google/Chrome; do NOT use Internet Explorer). To complete a lessons please follow these steps: On the top right hand corner of the page there will be four tabs, place your mouse over the far left tab My Money 101. There will be two options come up when you place your mouse over this tab, choose Go to My Money 101. o This should bring up a box that asks you to select your enrollment level and if you are in an ID class or completing this for Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). Type in SAP or Satisfactory Academic Progress. o If you do not get a pop-up screen and you are taken directly into the lesson itself: go back to saltmoney.org and click on your name at top right of screen (in blue). When this page loads scroll down to the section entitled School Information. In the bottom left of this section will be a box entitled Student ID. Please type in this box SAP and save your changes. NOTE: you must have SAP in your profile, (whether you do it via the pop up or by clicking on your name) in order to receive credit. Once you’ve identified that you are part of SAP, go back to viewing the courses on My Money 101. You will notice there are twelve courses listed but you are only responsible for the first ten courses. Click on each lesson and complete the following: o Under Activities click on the Pre-Lesson Survey and complete the survey o Next you will complete the lesson. There are two options to complete the lesson. Option #1 is to read it as a PDF document (click on Text Version). Option #2 is the virtual classroom. The lesson will be read for you with accompanying slides. o Next you will complete the examination. Click on the link marked Examination. There are 15 multiple choice questions that you must answer that come directly from the lesson. You must make 75% or better to complete this requirement. You may take the examination as many times as necessary but you must make 75% or better to get credit for this lesson. o Finally you will click on the Post-Lesson Survey and complete the survey Once you have completed these steps, (assuming you have made over 75% on the examination) you have completed the lesson. There should be a checkmark in the box indicating completion. You must complete the following lessons: (1) Fundamentals, (2) Educational Planning, (3) Internships, incomes, and Career, (4) Employment, (5) Money Management, (6) Budgeting, (7) Student Loans, (8) Student Loan Repayment, (9) Credit and Debt Management, and (10) Saving and Investing.
