North Central students are invited to
write an essay about their personal
experience at North Central and be
eligible to win a cash prize!
2016 Essay Contest
To submit: Please do not
put your name on your essay!
Instead, please include your
student ID and phone number
on your cover page, and your
student ID on each subsequent
page. Papers with names will
be disqualified. Essays must be
delivered to the Writing Center,
AD/CL #125 or emailed to
[email protected] by
10 a.m. on Friday, April 15.
Winners will be notified within
two weeks.
First place - $150
All entries should be original work and be
500-750 words in length. Essays should
use clear support and examples to show
what has helped or hindered you during
your time here. Professionalism counts
(APA or MLA format with good grammar
and punctuation).
Examples and testimonials will help North
Central improve what we do, and your
work may be featured in future marketing
materials. The winner will be invited
to read his/her winning paper at
Commencement, the evening of May 13.
A marketing release must be signed.

Second place - $100
Third place - $50
