Learning Outcomes

Asexual Reproduction in Plants
• Some plants can reproduce sexually
(seeds)
• However, many plants can reproduce
asexually by producing structures such
as bulbs, tubers, runners, offsets and
plantlets (natural propagation) or they
can be assisted by humans by cutting
and layering (artificial propagation).
