ITINERARY
DAY 1 - DEPARTURE: Depart aboard a scheduled airline for Rome. Dinner and complimentary
beverages will be served this evening, followed by breakfast shortly before arrival.
DAY 2 - ROME: Benvenuti in Italia! Upon landing at Rome’s Airport, we proceed through passport
control to baggage claim. After clearing customs, we’ll be transferred by private motorcoach to Rome
for a four night stay. After free time for lunch we’ll enjoy an afternoon tour and Mass at the magnificent
St. Paul Outside the Walls, the largest in Rome after St. Peter’s and marvel at its beautiful cloisters.
Later we will stop at the Pontifical North American College for evening vespers with the seminarians.
Dinner and overnight in Rome. (D)
DAY 3 – ROME: Breakfast at hotel. Morning Papal Audience at the Vatican with the Holy Father.
Enjoy free time this afternoon to explore the Vatican. Dinner and overnight in Rome (B, D)
DAY 4 – ROME: Breakfast at hotel. Today we will see the glory that is Rome. Visit the Roman
Forum, the archeological remains of the center of classical and imperial Roman life; the Colosseum
(outside view), the famed battleground of the gladiators and historic churches in the area. This afternoon
we travel the Old Appian Way by the Domine Quo Vadis chapel to visit the magnificent Catacombs
of St. Callistus. Dinner & overnight in Rome. (B, D)
DAY 5– ROME: Breakfast at hotel. This morning, visit St. John in Lateran followed by the Holy Stairs,
opposite of the Lateran Palace. After lunch we celebrate the journey from the crib to the cross we visits
to St. Mary Major and Santa Croce. Evening tour of Rome at Night (featuring the Spanish Steps, Trevi
Fountain, St. Peter’s & more) after dinner. Dinner & overnight in Rome. (B, D)
DAY 6 – ROME / ASSISI: Breakfast at hotel. In the morning after a private Mass at St. Peter’s, we
take a tour of the St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. After lunch we travel to
Assisi and visit the Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli, containing the famous Porziuncola, where St.
Francis consecrated St. Clare. Dinner and overnight in Assisi. (B, D)
DAY 7 – ASSISI: Breakfast at hotel. Guided tour of Assisi featuring the Basilica of St. Francis of
Assisi and the Church of St. Clare. This afternoon, following free time for lunch and shopping, we visit
San Damiano Church. Farewell Dinner and overnight in Assisi. (B, D)
DAY 8 – ASSISI / ROME / DEPARTURE: Breakfast at hotel. It's time to say Arrivederci to Italy.
This morning we gather our memories, our joy and our new friends and transfer to the airport for our
return trip home. (B)
Payment Policy: A $350.00 per person deposit is due by May 1, 2017 to secure your reservation with

Refund Policy: Full refund on cancellations made by August 4, 2017. An optional trip cancellation
insurance is available for $172.00 per person for double occupancy and $194.00 per person single
occupancy. Insurance premium is due with initial trip deposit.
