Electrical is one of the leading manufacturers of switchgears in South East
Asia.
Sunlight has completed a wide variety of projects in the public and private
sectors, some of them being amongst the most emblematic in the country.
For instance, Marina Bay Sands, Formula One Building, The Esplanade,
the light trains rail and Mass Rapid Transit system, Singapore Exchange
Center, Vivo City, the Singapore flyer and various buildings and structures
at the Marina Bay.

The ABB solution
ABB switches have a high electrical performance and reliability even in
the most demanding power network conditions. This is critical to obtain
the necessary certifications, including the ones from ASTA. With the
certifications, Sunlight can ensure and prove to their customers that the
switchgears fulfill all their requirements and that they receive a high quality
product.
ABB switches have the optimal size for easy wiring and to use the minimum
amount of copper and bus bars. ABB offers includes a wide variety of
accessories that increase the flexibility of the installation. One example is
the shafts, which are adjustable to the installation length. “By using ABB
switches, the productivity on site increases - the installer does not need
to measure and cut every shaft to the precise length, but only to adjust it
and fix it without using any special tools. As a result, the installation time
of the switch is reduced by half”, said Mr. Sung Puay Kiang , President &
Executive Director for Sunlight.
Another aspect supported by the adjustable shafts is that with a limited
amount of shaft types, Sunlight can cover many different installations
with different lengths. This feature makes the customer’s logistic process
smoother, as they can purchase and stock items using less part numbers.
