FROM SYDNEY (distance approximately 200 km, travel
time 2.5 to 3.5 hrs) take the Princes Highway south through
Wollongong, Kiama and Nowra. Turn left into Jervis Bay
Road then
FROM CANBERRA
Route 1: (Distance approximately 230 km, travel time
3 to 3.5 hours) (note some sections of gravel road)
Take the Kings Highway through Bungendore to Braidwood.
On the outskirts of Braidwood turn left onto the Nerriga
Road, travel through Nerriga to the Turpentine Road and
thence to the Princes Highway. Turn left at the Princes
Highway and travel north for approximately 10 km and turn
right into Jervis Bay Road then
Route 2: (Distance approximately 280 km, travel
time 3.5 to 4 hours) Take the Kings Highway
through Bungendore and Braidwood to Batemans Bay,
then travel north along the Princes Highway to Tomerong.
At Tomerong take the right turn to Huskisson and
Jervis Bay and turn right into Jervis Bay Road then
Once on Jervis Bay Road follow it to the National Park gate
house and Tourist Information Centre - 75 metres past the
gate house turn right into Ellmoos Road (sign posted to
Bay of Plenty Lodges) and follow this road for 13 km
bearing left at each intersection to Bay of Plenty Lodges.
