About MG-10
The MG-10 system is Mings' new model. MG-10 not only includes 4 bands of EQ and a
chromatic LCD tuner, but also has a MP3 player and a recorder. With MG-10, you can play
beautiful background music or record your playing, and then share with everyone.
MG-10 Quick Start
1. Set the controls - Set volume off. Set the bass, middle, treble and presence controls to
center.
2. Plug in - Connect the MG-10 to an amplifier or PA with a ¼-inch instrument cable. The
battery light will flash once quickly to indicate it has switched on.
3. Tune up - Raise the volume and adjust the bass, middle, treble and presence controls to
your liking.
MG-10 Controls
1. Volume - For the cleanest signal, set the volume knob as high as possible, without causing
distortion or feedback.
2. Bass - Boost here to add depth and weight to the sound of the guitar.
3. Middle - Adjust the middle knob all the way left for a smooth “scooped out” tone at high
volume levels. Raise the middle knob to the right of center to add midrange “bite” to the sound.
4. Treble - boost to cut through the mix. Cut to mellow and subdue the sound.
5. Presence - control the frequency between 10K-20KHz.
6. Phase - Use the Phase switch to improve bass response at low volume and suppress
feedback at high volume.
7. Tuner - Use the tuner display as shown below to tune your instrument:
Character turns white
and pointer points left:
“D” note below pitch
Character turns green
and pointer keeps in centre:
“D” note in tune
Character turns white
and pointer points right:
“D” note above pitch
Character turns green
and pointer keeps in centre:
“D#” note in tune
8. MP3 Play And record - MG-10 has MP3 play and high fidelity MP3 recording functions,
concrete operation as following:
- Press this button to enter MP3 Play Mode. Press this button again to pause or
resume the MP3 play.
- Short press to decrease the volume step by step, long press (more than 1S) to
select previous track.
- Short press to increase the volume step by step, long press (more than 1S) to
select next track.
- Press this button to enter recording Mode. Press this button again to pause or
resume the recording.
Playback recording - When recording completed, press
play button to play the
latest recorded file.
MP3 Off - Long press
or
, MP3 module off.
Data and transmission - MG-10 automatically save your recording and convert to MP3
file. Also unit has a mini USB Port and a MircoSD card, you can connect it to
your PC to add BGM or share your playing with everyone on the internet.
9. Battery - When low-battery indicator lamp lights steadily it is time to change the battery. To
conserve the battery, unplug the instrument and turn off the tuner when not in use.
