EYEBROWS MICROBLADING AFTER CARE
CLIENT COPY
After care is crucial, it is very important to follow these instructions to ensure proper healing
and color retention. Results will vary for all individuals and we cannot guarantee your results.
Please DO NOT use other products or follow other artists’ aftercare instructions. Through my
own personal experience, these instructions will give you the best results!
DAILY CARE TO FOLLOW FOR THE FIRST 7 DAYS
DAY 1/ DAY OF PROCEDURE: Immediately after the procedure, using moderate
pressure, blot eyebrows with a clean tissue each time, every 30 minutes for the next 3
hours.
4-6 hours after the procedure, use a damp (not dripping) cotton pad with lukewarm
distilled water to gently clean your brow tattoo by passing it once through each
eyebrow. Pat dry the area with a tissue or paper towel immediately after
DAY 2-14 (at a minimum of 10 days or continue until scabs are completely gone):
Repeat these steps twice a day (morning and night).
1. Always WASH YOUR HANDS thoroughly with anti-bacterial soap before touching
the tattooed area. You don’t want to get the area infected!
2. CLEAN the area very gently using a cotton pad or gauze soaked in distilled
water in lukewarm temperature.
3. PAT DRY the area with a tissue or paper towel immediately after. (If at any point
you get the treated area wet, just pat dry immediately!)
4. MOISTURIZE* sparingly with the lotion/oil we provide to you. (If you have very oily
skin, skip this step to maintain crisper strokes). Use one end of the Q-tip for one
eyebrow, and the other end of the Q-tip for the other to avoid any cross
contamination. Please note that the lotion provided is grape seed oil based and
is non-comedogenic.
*You may reapply the lotion/grapeseed oil sparingly throughout the day if you find the
area very dry/tight and itchy. (You want your scabs to be dry and only lightly
moisturized to stay flexible. NOT greasy or soft and soggy)
Once all scabs are gone, use mascara wand to brush through the eyebrows and
remove dead skin.
Some itching is normal, do not pick, peal or rub your brow tattoo as the color may heal
unevenly and you could risk an infection, which in turn could lead to scarring. All of the color
is to flake away by itself. Do not receive skin care or beauty treatments during 5 days after
your enhancement, no makeup should be applied on or near by the enhancement.

DO NOT allow the treated area to be wet or soaking in water for a long amount of time in the
shower or while washing your face. You DO NOT want the scabs to get soggy. If it gets wet, dry
the area immediately!
DO NOT harsh cleansers, creams, or any other products on treated area for at least 10 days.

interfere with healing and the color of your tattoo. Wash around the area using a cleaning
cloth or makeup wipe.
NO facials, Botox, chemical treatments and microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.
DO NOT apply make-up to the tattooed area for the first 14 days. Makeup will suffocate the
area and won’t allow the area to breathe and heal properly causing irritation and excessive
scabbing.
DO NOT go on any sunny vacations or tanning and avoid high sun exposure during the
healing process (3-4 weeks), UV Rays can alter the pigment of your tattoo.
DO NOT run direct water on your brow tattoo. This is especially important in the first few days,
you do not want to wash out any pigment.
DO NOT go into saunas, pools, and steam rooms.
DO NOT use Vaseline, Neosporin or any petroleum-based products on your tattoo.
If you have bangs, you must clip them back for the first 7 days to avoid irritation and infection.
DO NOT go tanning and if you do cover your brow tattoo, UV rays can alter the color of your
tattoo.
DO NOT use exfoliants, retinol acids, or AHA’s on the area for 30 days after the appointment. It
will fade your tattoo prematurely.
DO NOT use laser light therapy on your brow tattoo. This can darken, lighten, and distort the
pigment.
EYEBROW MICROBLADING APPROXIMATE HEALING SCHEDULE
CLIENT COPY
DO NOT expect your brow tattoos to heal perfectly after the first session. This is a 2-step, sometimes multiple step
process. It takes time. BE PATIENT. During your 2-week healing process your brows will change and appear
different from day to day, THIS IS NORMAL. The full healing period is 4 to 8 weeks.
You may experience the following symptoms for about 4 days.
• Minor swelling and redness
• Mild tenderness
• Itchiness in the eyebrow area
• Dry flaking skin
These symptoms are normal part of the healing process.
Remember, your selected color will be stronger and more sharply defined for 10-14 days after procedure, but
as healing process occurs the color will soften and lighten.
The approximate scabbing period is 14 days, however healing can be prolonged if you’re immune system is
compromised, if you are generally stressed, and by poor diet.
Keep in mind, that in many cases some unevenness of color is to be expected. This is the purpose of the Touch
Up visit allowing us to perfect your enhancement. This is included in the initial cost if you come in a 4-8 weeks
time frame.
HEALING SCHEDULE
Approximate* Day Effect
DAY 1 to 3: Immediately after your procedure brows will appear darker and more defined. Color will
gradually get darker day by day and up to 50-60% darker than the final result. Your brow tattoo can
appear more solid THIS IS NORMAL.
DAY 4 to 14: Around this time you will experience scabbing and your brows may look dry and flakey. DO
NOT PICK on your scabs; let them fall off naturally. If scabbing gets picked off prematurely, it will result in
missing hair stokes
•Your brow tattoo will take up to 4-8 weeks to fully heal. When the scabbing comes off the hair strokes may
seem faded this is because a fresh layer of skin has healed over the brow tattoo. Give your brows a few
weeks and the hair strokes will become clearer.
•Not everyone’s hair stoke brows can heal clean and crisp. Hair strokes for oilier skin types tend to heal
more solid and powdery while drier skin types tend to heal more crisp and defined. Also for those who
bleed more may tend to need more touchups as the blood pushes the pigment out while we tattoo.
DO NOT splash wash your face. You can start to wash your face including the eyebrows when all your scab has
come off using a gentle cleanser (for example: Cetaphil or CeraVE which you can find in any pharmacy.)
**Everyone heals differently. The final outcome depends on your skin type, after care and your lifestyle.
