UNIFORM CHECKLIST
There are many parts to the band’s uniforms. Please use the following checklist to make sure nothing is left at home
and each student is ready to perform. Thanks!
BLUE DRESS UNIFORM FOR FOOTBALL GAMES
Uniform pants (worn with shorts/boxers underneath)
Uniform jacket with ruffled insert and yellow braids on each shoulder
Garment bag with hangers
Black band shoes and black socks that go above the ankle
Blue band shirt (wear deodorant!)
Gloves
Shako and shako box
Instrument
Music (if needed)
Bring:
Pants to change into after half time
Shoes to change into after half time
Girls: Have your hair up, off the neck
Please remember to hem pants/sleeves as requested. NEVER CUT ANY PART OF THE UNIFORM!! (A future band
member may be taller than you!) Drink only WATER while in uniform – NO FOOD!!
WHITE DRESS UNIFORM FOR BAND REVIEWS, PARADES AND FIELD SHOW COMPETITION
White band shoes and white socks that go above the ankle (do not wear shoes to call time!)
Gloves (clean and white) or $5 to replace
White/Light gray T-shirt with sleeves
White/Light gray boxers/bike shorts to be worn under parade uniform (color and prints will show through the uniform!)
Extra pants
Blue Band shirt
Extra shoes
Deodorant must be worn!!
Instrument
Music (if needed)
Hair must be up and off the neck. Guys as well!! (Hair spray, hair gel, rubber bands, bobby pins, and doo-rags will be used
to control hair)
No jewelry – all watches, rings, earring, necklaces, bracelets or any other metal/decorative items must be left at home.
No make up
No fingernail polish
