Please help us welcome our new Community Manager, Nick Warner! Nick has been in the Property
Management field for over twenty years, with ten years of experience as a Community Manager for
Privatized Military Housing at Hickam AFB, Schofield Barracks, AMR, Fort Shafter and Fort Lewis. Nick

California. He is very enthusiastic about being the Community Manager here at beautiful Vandenberg AFB!
Also new to the team are 3 Resident Specialists!
 Francesca Kesteren is a Lompoc native and started with us in August 2013. She loves
spending time with her son, running at the mission and riding her horses.
 Melanie Diaz is from Fresno and also joined us in August 2013. She enjoys traveling with her
three daughters, spending time at the beach, hiking and sight-seeing.
 Shasta Hooks is a 12 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and joined our team in October 2013.
Shasta, her husband Chad, and two children arrived to VAFB in August of 2012 from F.E.

PARKING
We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the parking regulations in accordance with
CA & Federal law. Vehicles (to include recreational vehicles and motorcycles) may not be parked within
15 feet of a fire hydrant or within 30 feet of a stop sign or intersection. Doing so can impede the flow of
traffic and access for Emergency Services. Federal law also allows for a mail carrier to cease delivery to
an address if the mailbox is routinely blocked. We ask that you do not park a vehicle in front of your
mailbox during normal mail delivery hours.
CHRISTMAS TREE PICKUP/DISPOSAL
Christmas trees may be placed in the green waste at any time, however they would need to be cut
down to fit properly in the trash can. Otherwise the week of January 12, 2014 the Christmas trees
may be placed at curbside on regular trash day for removal.
