Make sure you register for the 10,000 Shot Challenge on the CRCBC Website, www.CoonRapidsHoops.org. Check the 5 5 5 website to get free shooting routines, worksheets, and videos on the CARDINAL COMBINE page. 6 6 6 2. Keep track of your progress by writing in the number of shots in the corresponding date. The goal is 10,000 7 7 7 shots for grades 4-8 (next year's grade) and 5,000 shots for grades K-3 (next year's grade). If you want a great 8 8 8 challenge only keep track of your made shots. 9 9 9 3. Form shots count! Start each day with one-handed or two-handed form shots. You don't even have to use 10 10 10 a hoop, simply shoot with form into the air and repeat. Work on a one-handed release. 11 11 11 4. Go full speed. Lazy shots will not help you improve. 12 12 12 5. No excuses..if you don't have a hoop, ask a neighbor or get to a park, ask for a ride, ride your bike, walk...find a way! 13 13 13 6. The CRCBC website has a ton of workouts to follow but if you want extra go to Google and type in "basketball 14 14 14 shooting workouts." 15 15 15 15 7. You may credit 25 shots for every 3 on 3 game you play and 100 shots for every camp or skills session you attend. 16 16 16 16 8. Be truthful.
