away from the theatre for financial reasons. Thus, the annual scholarship appeal was born!
This appeal has been happening for the past nine years, and has made scholarships available to
hundreds of children.
Over 30% of our current students receive scholarship help with their tuition on a sliding
scale dependent on financial need and family size.
Stebens Children’s Theatre is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. At SCT only volunteers
are used to raise financial support; so there are no hidden or outside fundraising costs.
