Calhoun Community College Warhawks Minutes for October 10, 2012 Warhawk Forms/Information website: www.calhoun.edu/WarhawkInfo Meeting called to order with Roll Call (Each Warhawk to answer roll call with the number of tickets sold) Gala Update – Warhawks may stay for the dance after they have completed their duties. Ladies can either bring an evening gown to change into from their Warhawk uniform or wear it while you work. Guys can wear their uniform into the gala. Fundraising – Everyone was reminded that they have one week left to sell calendars. Fall Retreat – The fall retreat will be on November 16th and 17th. Fall Fest– We will be able to get the free Gigi’s cupcakes to sell. However, we will have to pay $3.98 for each pizza. We are not sure if we can get the pizzas yet. Community Services Donations ‐everyone signed up to bring an item for the community service activity. These will be turned in on the 24th of October. There will be pictures made at each campus. Manna House– The Warhawks can work at the Manna House on Memorial Parkway on Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays from 4:00‐7:00 pm. Warhawks will be serve as hosts/hostesses and giving tours of the building. Downtown Arts Center Open House ‐‐ Saturday, October 20 (12‐4:00 pm, Arts Center) Tennessee Valley BEST Robotics Competition ‐‐ Saturday, October 27 (8am‐5:00pm, Decatur Campus, Gymnasium).
