 Shows possession or ownership and takes the place
of a possessive noun.
 No apostrophes!

Possessive Adjectives – describe a noun (my, our, your,
his, her, its, their).
Ex. My dog will be coming soon. (possessive adjective)
Ex. Mine is coming soon. (possessive pronoun)
Possessive pronouns can stand alone. Possessive
adjectives come right before the noun they describe.
