Throw and bounce
(with a balloon or a paper ball)
Number of players: the whole class in pairs
Equipment needed: one paper ball per pair
Children stand in pairs and compete against each other. One pupil stands behind the throwing line
holding a paper ball in one hand. The'thrower tries to throw the ball as far as possible. The partner has
to collect the ball and leap back to the line from the place the ball touched the ground. The more
he/she bounces, the more points his/her partner receives. The pupils then change position. The
thrower aims at throwing the ball as far as way as possible, and the receiver aims at getting back to the
line with the least number of steps of possible. The games go on until one of the players reaches the
previously determined points (15 — 20).
