Kindergarten — Ayla Pelc has been chosen as the student of the month for Perseverance. She has worked hard as we have started this school year! No matter how difficult of a task I have given her, she rises to the task, doesn't complain and always does her best. Being able to persevere when you're faced with things that seem very hard is very honorable. I am so proud of her hard work so far in this school year! Keep up the great work, Ayla!! Kindergarten — Connor Elliston is our Student of the Month for October. Connor has shown great perseverance since the start of the school year. He continues to work hard each day and gives his best effort. He shows great effort on his homework, even when he needs help. I am encouraged by the hardworking attitude that Connor shows 1st Grade—David Reed is our student of the month for perseverance. He works hard in every subject each day. David is someone who never gives up, even when faced with a challenge. He is a great role model for his peers. Keep up the great work David! 1st Grade — Normal (Manny) Barron is receiving the student of the month for perseverance. Manny has demonstrated perseverance through working hard and not giving up in math, handwriting, reading, and phonics. Manny has also worked hard on learning and practicing his sight words. His writing skills have also improved since the beginning of the year and he continues to work to improve his handwriting skills and not give up. 2nd Grade— Nate Reed is the 2nd Grade Student of the Month. Nate shows perseverance while overcoming daily obstacles. He comes to school with a positive attitude and works hard without ever giving up! 2/3 Grade – Austin McDonough. Austin has made tremendous progress in completing and returning homework and in his work during school hours. He is very attentive and eagerly volunteers to answer questions. Austin is well-behaved and a hard worker, he perseveres even when it is difficult. Great Job, Austin! 3rd—Kiley Hershiser is the third grader that has shown a great deal of perseverance the first two months of school. Third grade can be quite a challenge and adjustment to students. As the year began, Kiley found it rather challenging. However, she has been strong and persevered through lessons that she found difficult, to complete successful third grade level work. I am proud of her accomplishments so far this year, and I am excited to see what other tasks she will master as the year progresses! . 4th Grade — Dominick Coke is the fourth grader for the pillar of perseverance. Dominick is a wonderful example of this trait on a daily bases. He is constantly working hard and trying his very best. Dominick pushes through even when times get tough. I can always count on him to give 100%! 5th— Vivian Tran deserves the honor of student of the month because it is her mission to learn. She always does her best work, and displays excellent effort. Her friendly disposition also serves as a positive in the classroom. She is also always willing to help others in need. 6th —For the sixth grade student of the month, I would like to nominate Emilia Lopez. Emilia tries her best every day. She studies her math facts and has made great improvements with her handwriting and grammar work. She asks questions when she doesn't understand and she doesn't get discouraged. She is setting a good example for our class to follow. 7th/8th—Bo Tran is October’s Student of the Month from Mrs. Kuenzer’s class. Bo comes to school every day with a smile on his face, a great attitude, and is always willing to try. He works very hard in all of his subjects. He has been making math his priority because he wants to get a better math grade this year. He has been working very hard to achieve his goal. His math grade is excellent! Bo is a funny and friendly young man. He enjoys talking to people. Bo would like to be a You Tuber when he grows up so that he can entertain people.
