Administrators’ Corner
As our community transitions from winter to spring, please find in our
newsletter a variety of programs designed to shake off the cold and
hit the reset button on the health and well-being of both ourselves and
the community we live in. In March & April you can take classes on
meditation and tai chi, learn how to paint a spring scene, cook a delicious
spring-themed meal, attend a presentation on recycling/sustainable
living and participate in our collection for the Saving The Animals Rescue
Foundation. Patrons can also purchase discounted tickets for a Ducks
game, the L.I. Aquarium, Bronx Zoo and the Museum of Natural History.
Lastly, April 4th is the library’s annual budget vote and trustee election
(details on pg. 6). Please participate in your library by casting your ballot!
Best wishes to all and we hope to see you in the library soon.
