All classes are open to all
Entries should be received by the Flower Show Organiser by Friday 4th August 2017
to assist with the smooth running of this event.
The committee have full power to accept or refuse an entry without stating the reason.
Exhibits may be staged between 9.30 am and 10.30 am on Sunday 6th August.
All exhibits must be the property of the exhibitor for not less than two months
previous to the date of the show and must have been grown by him/her in gardens
or allotments owned or rented by him/her (except in Floral Arrangement Classes).
Exhibitors may stage only one entry in each class.
Vases and all receptacles must be provided by the exhibitor.
Class cards will be provided at the show. Exhibitors must place them face downwards
in front of their exhibit.
Exhibitors are requested to name their exhibits, if known, in the flower, fruit and
vegetable sections.
The judge’s decision regarding the relative merits of exhibits shall be final.
There is no prize money or entry fees for this show. Prize Cards will be awarded to
all prize winning exhibits. Best Exhibits in each section will receive certificates.
All exhibits must remain staged until 5pm. NO PRIOR REMOVAL WILL BE
ALLOWED.
All exhibits are accepted at the risk of the exhibitor, and the organisers shall not be
liable for loss or damage or any other cause whatsoever.

FLOWER ARRANGEMENT SECTION
Classes will have 30 inch (76cms) high, 24 inch (61cms) wide and 12 inch (30cm) deep
niches for each entry. Exhibitors wishing to use drapes must provide their own support.
The space allowed need not all be used up but must not be exceeded. An exhibit is plant
material with or without accessories.
