PreK-8 PARENT
CONNECTIONS
Being a parent of a Minnehaha student means
being a partner in education. Minnehaha parents are
valuable contributors at every step of the educational journey.
Parents' input, involvement and prayer support are
invaluable in nurturing student growth. From volunteering
in service activities to supporting fundraising efforts,
Minnehaha parents are visibly involved team members.
The following are the ways in which parents can
connect with other parents and the greater Minnehaha community.

Library Helper
The library is always looking for people to help shelve books. The
librarians are very flexible and will take your help when they can
get it! You can volunteer weekly, daily, hourly, or whenever you
can. It is a perfect way to help the school in just a half hour here or
there when you might have some time before or after a meeting,
or while you are waiting for your child to finish an after school
activity. No experience necessary.

Middle School Theater Committee
Each spring our Middle School produces an ambitious theatrical
production. This is a fabulous learning experience for the student
actors, technicians and crew. Parent support is needed to contribute to the production of the play by creating costumes, props, sets
and doing make up. Additional support is needed in promotion
during the week before the performances. The production
process lasts only 6 weeks but the impact on the students is
meaningful. Consider adding your talents to the theater committee.
