Entry Fees:
• $15.00 per individual event
• Swim BC Provincial Team Splash Fee: $4.00 per swimmer
• One cheque per club made payable to Spartan Swim Club
Entries:
1. Entry deadline: Wednesday April 12th, 2017 (9:00pm)
2. Entries are limited to the club registering the 200th swimmer.
3. Meet entries must be uploaded prior to the entry deadline to the Swimming Canada
website.
4. All entries sent directly to the meet manager will not be accepted.
5. Cheques should be made payable to the “Spartan Swim Club”.
6. Associations must submit one cheque only; no individual cheques will be accepted
from members of the association.
7. Proof of times in “word format” must accompany all meet entries.

9. Some or all heats may be double-laned to maintain our posted timelines
10. All coaches and clubs will be notified via email about the timelines and any
modifications to the meet once final entries have been received. This meet is financially supported by the Government of British Columbia, Sports Services and Gaming Branch.
Deck Entries:
1. Deck entries will be placed in empty lanes – no new heats created
2. For a swimmer to be deck entered, the coach must provide the swimmers’ ID
number (9 digits), as well as their correct date of birth.
3. $30.00/individual event
4. Deck Entries will only be taken to fill empty lanes on a first come first serve basis.
5. All deck entries must be submitted 30min prior to the start of the session Meet Rules:
1. All events are timed finals and Sr. seeded
2. All swimmers must be registered with Swim BC; another FINA affiliated organization
and or an IPC affiliate.
3. Para-swimmers must be entered with their classification numbers and actual times
for each event.
4. Current IPC Rules will apply to all Para-swimmers in the meet.
5. All suits must meet all current SNC & FINA guidelines
6. Age group is based on the swimmer’s age as of April 22th 2017.
7. SNC rules and the Swim BC Tech Guide will be in effect.
8. SNC competition warm up safety procedures will be in effect. “The FINA one-start
rule is in effect.”
9. The meet management reserves the right to limit the number of entries in all events
to fit the goal time lines.
10. A coaches’ meeting will be held 10 minutes prior to the start of the session.
11. This meet will be run as a mixed gender meet therefor no records can be made
12. There will be no warm up/warm down lanes while events are running
Sessions:
This will be a one session meet:
Warm-ups: 1:00-1:45
Heats run: 2:00-5:00pm
Event Order: (All Events will be swum as mixed gender events)
Event #1. 400m Freestyle
Event #2. 800m Freestyle
Event #3. 1500m Freestyle
Event #4. 400m IM
