Assembly Instructions for Printable Decor Banner (Flag or Pennant) Materials Needed: Scissors or a paper cutter ¼ inch single hole punch Tape, ribbon, string or jute (1) Print document on desired paper. (2) Cut out shapes with scissors or a paper cutter. (3) Decide if you’d like to make one long banner (“Happy 1st Birthday Matthew”) or multiple smaller banners (“Happy” “Birthday” “Matthew”). (4) Attach pennants or flags to ribbon, string or jute. There are a number of ways you can do this o Tape your hanging material to the back of the pennants or flags. Ensure you leave extra material on the ends for hanging. o Use a ¼ inch single hole paper punch to punch a hole in the top left and top right corners of each pennant or flag. Feed a long piece of hanging material through the holes. Before you start feeding it, make sure it’s long enough and you’ll have enough left over on each end for hanging. o Use a ¼ inch single hole paper punch to punch a hole in the top left and top right corners of each pennant or flag. Tie the pennants and flags together with small pieces of hanging material. Tie longer pieces to the ends for hanging. Cake Bunting Materials Needed: Scissors or a paper cutter 1/8 inch single hole punch or a needle Thin string or embroidery floss Straws or dowels (1) Print document on desired paper. (2) Cut out shapes with scissors or a paper cutter. (3) Use a needle or an 1/8 inch single hole paper punch to punch holes in the top left and top right corners of each flag. (4) Feed a long piece of string or embroidery floss through the holes. Before you start feeding it, make sure it’s long enough and you’ll have enough left over on each end to tie the bunting to the straws or dowels. (2) Cut out shapes with scissors. When you cut the flags out hold off on cutting the triangles out until after the flag is glued together. This will ensure the ends match up perfectly. (3) Wrap the flag around a lollipop stick, align the edges, and glue the flag together. (4) Cut the triangle off the end of the flag. Cupcake Toppers Materials Needed: Scissors, a 2” circular paper punch, a 2 ¼“ scalloped paper punch, or a flourish square paper punch. The punches I use are made by EK. Glue or tape Lollipop sticks or toothpicks (1) Print document on desired paper. (2) Cut out shapes with scissors or your desired paper punch. (3) Attach the toppers to the lollipop sticks or toothpicks. There are a number of ways you can do this o Glue the back of a topper to a lollipop stick or toothpick. For double sided toppers add a topper to both sides. o Tape the back of a topper to a lollipop stick or toothpick. For double sided toppers add a topper to both sides. Apply glue or a piece of double-sided tape to one end of the wrapper. Wrap the unglued/untaped side around and overlap the edges with the end you glued/taped. High Chair Bunting Materials Needed: Scissors or a paper cutter 1/8 inch single hole punch or a needle String or embroidery floss Tape (optional) (1) Print document on desired paper. (2) Cut out shapes with scissors or a paper cutter. (3) Use a needle or an 1/8 inch single hole paper punch to punch holes in the top left and top right corners of each flag. (4) Feed a long piece of string or embroidery floss through the holes. Lunch Box Labels Materials Needed: Card stock or full sheet label paper Scissors or a paper cutter Tape or glue (if you choose not to print on label paper) Gable boxes (labels are made to fit the 8 x 4 ¾ x 5 ¼ inch boxes). Other lunch box style boxes can also be used. Be sure to check the box measurements before you order them. (1) Print document on desired paper. (2) Cut out shapes with scissors or a paper cutter. (3) Tape, glue or stick a label to the box. Note Cards Materials Needed: Scissors or a paper cutter Scoring board (recommended, but not required) 4 Bar envelopes (4 bar envelope size - 3 5/8" x 5 1/8") (1) Print document on desired paper. (2) Cut along the solid grey lines with scissors or a paper cutter. (3) Fold the cards in half horizontally along the very faint grey dotted line. If you have a scoring board I recommend using that to assist in the folding process. (2) Cut shapes out with scissors or a paper cutter. (3) Fold the tents in half horizontally along the white line. If you have a scoring board I recommend using that to assist in the folding process. Water Bottle Labels Materials Needed: Scissors or a paper cutter Regular tape, glue or double-sided tape (preferred) Premium presentation paper is recommended. Thicker papers or cardstock do not bend well around the bottles. Water bottles. o Labels are designed to go around the 16.9 oz Aquafina bottles. They will fit around other brands, but may need to be trimmed in order to fit around the bottle. (1) (2) (3) (4) Print document on desired paper. Cut out shapes with scissors or a paper cutter. Tape one end of the label to the bottle and wrap the label around the bottle. Apply glue or a piece of double-sided tape to the other end of the label (apply to the nonprinted side). You can also use a piece of invisible tape and tape down the loose end. This option works the best for adhesion, but doesn’t provide the best presentation. (5) Press the ends together firmly to adhere the glue or double-sided tape. Signs Materials Needed: Scissors or a paper cutter Ribbon, tape, glue or an 8x10 picture frame (1) Print document on desired paper. (2) If you print the PDF version you will need to trim the document down to an 8x10 with scissors or a paper cutter. The JPEG version should be ready to display (if you printed it as a picture). (3) Display the sign in one of the following ways – o Frame it o Glue or tape ribbon to the back of it and hang it o Punch holes in the top left and top right corners and feed ribbon through from the back (or front).
