7. A theater sells children's tickets for $4 and adult tickets
for $7. One night 575 tickets worth $3575 were sold.
How many adults and how many children bought tickets?
8. Students are chosen for a scholarship based on their scores
on tests of mathematics and verbal achievement. A student's
qualifying score is found by doubling his verbal score and
adding his math score. Gretchen's math score was 54 points
higher than her verbal score. Her qualifying score was 1782.
