Plastic Whale is the first
professional plastic fishing
company in the world. A
social enterprise with a mission:
make the world’s waters plasticfree and create value from
plastic waste. We have already
done so by building three
design boats from Amsterdam
Canal Plastic.
It is our goal to go ‘out of
business’: overfishing is a
positive phenomenon in our
case. With your team, department
or company you can help us
achieve our goal: come plasticfishing with us on the canals
of Amsterdam!

Plasticfishing with your company is not only a fun event, you
make a contribution to a better environment as well by making
our canals plastic-free. More than 70 companies have done
so already and no matter the weather, everybody is always
having a great time!
TEAMBUILDING
Like it or not, Plasticfishing will turn you into a fanatic fisherman. As it so happens, we’ve built in a friendly contest
between the boats. Who can fish the most plastic out of the
canals? And who can fish the most interesting item out of the
water? The winners will receive a memorable prize. It is this
competitive element that gets all of the contestants going!

Plastic Whale’s founder Marius

inspiring story on how Plastic
Whale started and how it’s
developing towards a rapidly
growing social enterprise
supported by many citizens,
companies and public
authorities.
Interactive workshops
CSR strategy is becoming
more and more important to
stakeholders, where as most
companies are still struggling
in determining their CSR commitments and make them part
of their daily business. Together
with our partner Lemon
Scented Tea, the storytelling
agency, and CSR specialists
we’ve created an interactive
workshop to inspire you and
your colleagues how to create,
embed and execute your CSR

STEUN STICHTING
PLASTIC WHALE
Our mission is to involve as
many people as possible to
reach our goal for plastic-free
waters. We’ve learned that
awareness and contribution
to the solution of the Plastic
soup starts with our children.
That’s why we want to involve
as many schools as possible
in our education program.
With our partner museum
Het Grachtenhuis classes can
book an excursion were they
learn about the function of
the Amsterdam canals and
the plastic soup problem.
Each year, moreover, the
foundation organizes free
public events where everybody can join us to realize our
goal for plastic-free waters.
Your donation to the foundation will make this all possible.
We have recently received
the ANBI status so all your
donations are tax deductible.
