Invasion Earth
This is a way cool dodge ball game designed around the theme of 3,2,1…Blast Off!
What is needed: Dodge balls, gym
How to play:
1. The center circle in the middle of the gym represents Earth, the last planet.
2. Defense satellites (kids) orbit around the outside of the circle. They are armed
with lasers (dodge balls). Assign children to become defense satellites. Start with
4-5 children, depending on the size of your group.
3. All the other children are aliens from Gliese who are trying to invade Earth. They
scatter to the outer perimeter of the gym, the far reaches of space.
4. The Gliesians must get past the defense satellites without being hit by a laser.If
they are successful, an Earth invasion is declared.
5. If a Gliesian is hit by a laser, they get vaporized and are destroyed. They go off to
the side and are out for the rest of the game.
6. Each time a Gliesian makes it to Earth, the Gliesian sends one of the defense
satellites out to the perimeter to become a Gliesian, reducing the number of
Satellites by one.
7. When either there are no more Gliesians or no more defense satellites, the game
is over.
8. When the game is over, if there are any Gliesians on Earth, an Earth invasion is
declared and the Gliesians win.
9. When the game is over, if there aren’t any Gliesians on Earth, then the defense
satellites did their job well, and Earth is declared the winner.
