Fabric Yardage and Cutting Before Class Preparation #A Light Blue Background (Applique blocks, Side triangles) Cut (1) 10-1/2” strip, sub cut (4) 10-1/2” squares Cut (1) 16-1/2” strip, sub cut (2) 16-1/2” squares #1 Main Blue (Star Points) Cut (2) 5” strips 1 yard #2 Main Red (Star Points, Border) Cut (2) 5” strips Cut (6) 8” strips (Border - cut later) #3 & #4 Print in Blue & Red (Center 4 patches) Cut (1) 2” strip of each color 1-2/3 yard 1/3 yard 1/4 yard each #5 & #6 Light Floral & Light Blue (Star Point Backgrounds) 1/2 yard each Cut (5) 2-1/4” strips of each color Before class preparation; combine 2-1/4” strips in a 1/4" seam allowance lengthwise, press to darker color - do not cut again!!! Misc Florals – #7-11 (Corner 4 patches) 1 Fat Eighth each Choose (4) different color choices i.e green, pink, blue, red, etc Cut (2) 2” x 22” strips of each Add more colors for variety!
